the type of people the world gives you -
light:
glows when they talk, dewy eyes, radiates with a blessing from the sun, calm in the air and goodness in their hearts
ocean:
bodies full of stories, a will that ebbs and flows, lazy smiles, no real devotion to anything but existence itself, wordless lullabies
earth:
minds like caverns, hands like stone, to hold or to hurt, heavy irises, earthquake tempers, stubborn desire for constant reconstruction
poison:
an inexplicable sense of sharpness, hot tears, decaying cores, irreversible tornadoes and infectious whispers
The best part of beauty is that which no picture can express.
Francis Bacon (via lazypacific)
It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.
William Shakespeare (via lazypacific)
Ever notice how when you’re hanging out with someone, you’re not only hanging out with a body but also with a history. Ever felt it too? Like you’re walking down the sidewalk alongside this field of planted experiences; memories of childhood, first kisses, love, tragedy, heartbreak, heartmend, epic wins and epic failures. So much personal history at your disposal just at arm’s length. And you can tap and trigger these memories through conversation. Some blossom like a flower. Some explode like a mine. And soon the totality of the field next to you begins to expand once you realize that you yourself are dropping seeds into that soil. You’re like a fleet of Maple leaves hovering swiftly across. And then you begin to wonder what kind of seeds you’re dropping. Will they flower or explode?
Pancho Panoptes (via lazypacific)
I used to hate using ‘love’ liberally. I felt it was a sacred word only to be used in very special occasions. Now that I’m older, I’ve come to the realization that love should be shared and felt and received with reckless abandon. Love these characters, love this food, love things in the moment, even if they may seem tiny and insignificant to others. I think it makes life a little more soft around the edges.
ADMIRE SOMEONE ELSE’S BEAUTY WITHOUT QUESTIONING UR OWN!!!!
Jesus Christ, this is a real place. The world’s biggest salt flat -the ground turns into a giant mirror when it rains.
This might even be better than the Aurora Borealis. I’ve never seen space like that, let alone mirrored on the ground below me.

There are people who can make moments movie-like. You know, they have a sense for capturing the moments, to make others feel like time has stopped for a few seconds and they are all eternal. Only them, joy and the moment.. I wish I was someone like that.
Never apologize for how you feel. No one can control how they feel. The sun doesn’t apologize for being the sun. The rain doesn’t say sorry for falling. Feelings just are.
Iain S. Thomas (via naturaekos)
