i actually- i really love this?? i think youre right because when dirk was trying to bribe terezi to come with him, he told her that he had the means to bring john back to life and give him relevance again.

considering dirk’s abilities dont extend to resurrecting the dead, and sburb’s old selling point to the kids was that they could bring back the dead in game. at least that was talked a lot about in the beginning of the og comic. i think that dirks plan for bringing john back has to be the sprites. unlike rose, there’s no conciousness he can tether to a robot. so i dont see what else he could have been planning.

now the idea that john would get to be terezi’s sprite kills me. could you imagine john who was kind of floating around in the game and not really knowing what was happening mechanically, suddenly getting all this knowledge? i feel like he wouldnt be able to shut up and relate everything to movie puns still but theyd be constantly relevant to the circumstance. do you think the animal he could get mixed with could end up being one the weird creations from rose or dirk? because i dont know what other life forms are on the planet they chose
