Woodclan is the sole clan living in the forest territory while the other clans opted for the open fields. Woodclan is led by Lionstar, formerly a cat from the ancient tribe of rushing water, with his deputy Wintermold, and medicine cats Larkspirit and Russetfern and is known to be the toughest clan, surviving through 3 different sickness outbreaks all caused by twolegs

STORY TIME BELOW!!

It's Morningpaw's Medicine Cat Ceremony! He receives his first vision from Starclan and it's that his brother will one day abandon him as retribution. For whom or what, he doesn't know yet. All he knew was that one day, he'd be left alone, and just like his dream of becoming a Warrior, he has to accept that he's going to lose anyway

Starclan isn't Evil or Bad, but they are very much unfair towards Morningpaw. He's not a "Prophecy Baby" or anything like that, but Starclan saw a puppy who wanted to be a Clan Cat and had him be put through trials no other cats have ever been; Have his older brother who he loved to hate him and throw him out, have one of his kits dead so he has to give it up and commit to the Medicine Cat role, and when he's lost everything, he was supposed to be drowned only for Nightstar to save him. He was supposed to DIE just to see if NIGHTSTAR can be a better cat

If it weren't for Foxsnout and Rottenshout's insistence on Morningglory having earned his place in Starclan, Morningglory's soul would've ended up in a whole other afterlife outside of Starclan and The Dark Forest. In conclusion: Morningglory is Starclan's favourite punching bag solely because he's a dog delusional enough to believe he can be a cat

Fun fact: The Starclan cats present during Morningpaw's Medicine Cat ceremony are, in order, Quietsong (Morningpaw's Mentor, Thunderpool's, Mentor), Foxsnout (Morningpaw's Starclan Mentor), and Rottenshout (A Dark Forest Cat who's on his road to redemption for a chance to go to Starclan, he's there for Morningpaw cause he sees himself in him. If it were some other ways, he'd take Morningpaw as his Dark Forest Apprentice as well)
