We can feel more than one feeling at a time. It is okay to wish for the safe and speedy evacuation of Ukrainian civilians AND to be outraged about the racist behavior of the soldiers and armed civilians against black people in Ukraine trying to evacuate.

I will not stand with those who refuse to speak on the neo-nazi party in the Ukrainian National Guard, or who act like what's happening to black people right now is happening in a vacuum instead of being a natural progression of the climate that allowed the army to be infiltrated in that way. Talking about that and acknowledging that does not in any way detract from the horrors that Ukrainian civilians are facing right now. We can be upset about both of these things, we SHOULD be upset about both of these things.

If your activism doesn't include black people, it's worthless. If your activism tells us to hush hush about the white supremacists in order to protect the white civilians, it's meaningless.

I hope that the white Ukrainians can stand strong with the black people trying to evacuate and help them get to safety, too. Stand in solidarity now more than ever. It's vital.

I feel like he’d put up with a lot of my shit, he’d be there to talk me through anything and to give me the constant reassurance I’d need in a relationship. Realistically: It would be Denki. I sometimes get really anxious about my friends and family not actually liking me, even when I know it’s irrational, but I feel like he’s very open and talkative about his love. He also would definitely drag me out of my shell which I need.

Unrealistically: It would be Dabi. As much as I love him it would be super toxic. Where I need that reassurance, I feel like canon Dabi finds love as weakness and with his past he’d be very hesitant to actually date. He’s probably much more open to a fwb relationship.

I’d have to say Sugawara; he’s a very bright person to be around but not to the point where it drains me instantly. He’s interesting to be around and is somehow both consistent and exciting, I wouldn’t feel pressured to maintain a high energy level all the time but also won’t feel bad for my excitable days whenever they do pop up.

Unrealistically:

Nishinoya. As much as I adore him, we value completely different things in a relationship. I also feel uncomfortable receiving direct positivity in brunt force the way he tends to supply it, I’m sure he’d mean it but the intensity and quantity makes me feel like it’s all a bit superficial. It would be very flattering if he asked me out but I’m also pretty sure he’d get bored of me very quickly.

as of 22nd April 2021 we have about 16.3M total cases and a death toll of 187K . Only about 1.4% of the population has been fully vaccinated yet.

on top of that, we've been facing a major shortage in oxygen supply (to the point where the govt has decided to airlift oxygen from other nations), a shortage in hospital beds and services. The numbers keep rising and with the spread of the new strain, the scenario has transformed into something deadlier than ever.

our infrastructures are falling apart and we need all the help possible at this very moment so the nation can be atleast saved when there's still a chance. I'm Korean and think there’s something i can explain. It's because of Kakao M, the music licensing company in Korea.

Kakao M has their own streaming service 'Melon' and they are almost monopolizing Korea’s music and streaming industry. A few years ago, Apple Music launched their service in Korea and wanted a license of Korean music. They signed a music contract with the Big 3 (SM, JYP, YG), but failed to get music sources from Kakao M. Kakao insisted on a ridiculous allocation of revenue to protect Melon's monopoly in Korea. So Apple started a half-service by giving up sound sourced by Kakao M, and its current share in Korea is a mess.

And Spotify launched service in 2021, and the benefits of Spotify is that it is much easier for Koreans to use overseas services through VPN than Apple Music. Spotify's streaming service is free of charge, and if you know how to use VPN, you can use overseas Spotify to avoid the tyranny of Kakao M in Korea (Current Spotify Korea service doesn’t have sound source of Kakao M, if we use official Spotify Korea, we can’t play any music from Kakao M sound source. that's ridiculous.), so of course you'll delete Melon. When the official service starts and the official website of Korea is established and promoted, the advantages will become more known to people. It also means Melon’s monopoly is faltering. So Kakao M decided to block their music license in Spotify all over the world.

india isn’t even a democracy anymore. the government now wants to obstruct freedom of speech by warning twitter of penal action if it doesn’t block the accounts which tweet about the protests.

please, this needs more attention. india is descending into fascism. “democracy” is just a blanket covering the chaos underneath.
