During their escape Kitty and Ace find themselves in the throes of the Cult of Wires; an underground cult of broken, liberated robots who shed their exteriors in favor of exposing their insides.

The Cult finds it freeing to rid themselves of their bodies for when the humans built robots they built them in their own image, forcing human expectations on them. They believe that removing them is the only way to be a true open machine.

These robots hail The Queen of Wires, a bot who provides sanctuary to any damaged machine she comes across. In her rein she has saved the lives of countless robots that were carelessly discarded by humans, and also has collected the parts of the ones she could not rescue.

However, it seems that her sympathy is beginning to stretch too far and her cult is becoming quite cramped underneath the city... Will Kitty and Ace be able to help them? Or will the cult strip them of their forms and end their story here?
