i think Agott’s drive and arrogance is often viewed as her wanting to be better than other people for the sake of being better than them - being able to look down at them from her place of higher importance. but as i see it, she could be miles and miles above all those around her, and she wouldn’t even notice, because she’s never stopping to look down. her gaze is fixed on the spot just above her, the next rung of the ladder she can move up to, permanently. yes, Agott can be brazen and blunt and difficult at times, but i think it’s important to note that her attitude is less to do with being able to gloat, and more so a young girl’s desperate attempts to prove that she is worth something, over and over again. any malice in her behaviour may be externalised as her being cold towards others, but the true malice is aimed at herself

Also I like that the girls' uniforms incorporate the tassel on their hats, the ribbon on their shoulders, AND these like...decorative cording type details??? (what is this called help)...on the back that are similar to what we see on Kidfrey's cloak and that seem likely to be inherited from Beldaruit
