i haven’t had much muse to write but i’m hoping to change that soon (i am not promising anything because i keep telling people and then i lose any momentum i had)

11. what kind of music is stuck in your head lately?

troy doherty (usually sagittarius, virgo, famous, gemini, or either of hermes’s songs) or whatever playlist i’ve been listening to that day

6. what’s your hair routine like? anything special?

every time someone tells me they wish they had my curls i just smh because curls are SO much work and i do like the BARE minimum smh

so i shampoo 3x a week MAX, on days that i shampoo i condition once, and days i dont shampoo i condition twice. for both shampoo and conditioner, ive been using shea moisture daily hydration.

i end up rinsing all of the first product out when i’m finger detangling, and i only rinse the second round enough to make it not sticky, but i leave most of the conditioner in because my hair has low porosity (hard to get wet, but once its wet its hard to get dry. its even harder hard to get product in it).

once i get out, i wrap my hair in a soft shirt while i chill for a second (i get nauseous if i move around too much after a shower).

once im ready, i spray my hair down with water to get it wet again (otherwise the product wont actually go into my hair, it’ll just sit on top of it) and finger comb a half pump of my leave in conditioner/anti-frizz. i use bio fuel conditioning for beard and hair (i know anti-frizz isn’t really what it’s for but my barber recommended it and lemme tell you that shit works).

and then i finish up with shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie (so very little of it for how short my hair is). gently comb out my curl clumps. take the shirt i wrapped my hair with post-shower and scrunch gently.

if i’m lazy (most of the time) i just let it air dry, but that takes five ever. but if i have the energy i blow dry with a diffuser on medium heat from a distance to start drying my roots, and then i properly diffuse on the coolest setting until dry (or until i’m too dizzy to stand because i have to be upside down to diffuse)

well i’m like my mawmaw was. not superstitious, just a little stitious (its a bad joke ik but my mawmaw donna told it like every single time i was at her place)

actually i am superstitious. idk about luck? but i dont split poles (like if im walking with someone i will go the same side of the pole as them) but i think thats more bc i was traumatized by scary movie as a kid. i knock on wood (when i feel like ive jinxed us in some way). i dont say certain names of things because they draw them closer to you (not typing the name of them but i will say that i watched the supernatural episode for the first time while i was at my dads hunting camp, in the middle of nowhere, at like 1am.)
