Can't relate because I don't have any close friends who are actively transitioning/transitioned after I met them, but I look back at How I Was a year ago while I was still in denial, and. Was I really that person?? Ever??? I mean he's got some similarities to me, we have some hobbies in common and a similar sense of humor. He also avoided interacting with anyone if at all possible, never took joy in her clothing, never took joy in much of anything actually, avoided her reflection, didn't mind the idea of dying, like,,, girl?? You okay??? (She wasn't)

the habitat loss, food source loss, extreme weather, etc caused by climate change are even more deadly to birds than any power plant.

wind turbines unfortunately do kill birds. but not at the numbers worth tearing down all the wind turbines. environmental assessments are always necessary when putting up infrastructure projects like this to mitigate potential harm but climate change itself is worse for all species. and that climate change is almost entirely caused by the extraction and burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil, natural gas.)

and wind power is one of many ways we get ourselves off of the dirty ass environmental disaster that is extracting and burning fossil fuels for electricity.

You know, every time I see beautiful art like this of Zelda as something no longer quite human (I know they're technically hylian, you get what I mean) It just frustrates me about how badly they dropped the ball in the actual game.

Like, I have a lot of gripes about the game, but the ending specifically was such a cop-out; we went from

"Sometimes you have to sacrifice the things that are important to you if you want to save the things that make life worth living"

to

"lol nevermind, everything is fine and everyone is back to normal like nothing happened, don't worry about it :)"

I can't even tell you how enraged I am at the wasted potential, for real. Let their actions have consequences!

Let Link be a swordsman who can no longer wield his sword! Let him work with Zelda to try to adapt to losing his dominant arm that was destroyed trying to protect her!

Let Zelda grapple with the fact that she's not entirely what she once was! Let her slowly relearn how to be human from Link after forsaking her own humanity for eons in a desperate attempt to help him!

Maybe I’ve been working MORE THAN double as hard for MY WHOLE LIFE and it’s led me to immense burnout & caused me to develop several MORE disabilities!! Maybe I should be ACCOMMODATED so I don’t have to KILL MY BODY AND BRAIN over trying to do what abled people can do!! Maybe I DON’T have to work double as hard!! Maybe if there’s the option to let me NOT work double as hard, I should have it, because I’m already working double as hard JUST TO SURVIVE!!
