Two quick fixes

I’ve just about gotten the Christmas patients on their way, and I’m now moving on to the “we don’t need to rush or have them travel at Christmas” patients who’ve come in, but there were a couple really quick patients that I wanted to share… just so you know everyone doesn’t need a spa or major surgery!

First off is Pepper the border collie. Her person wrote:

Hello! A real dog took a chunk out of the cheek of my Steiff border collie. Picture is attached. Can you fix it? Thanks!

Fortunately, the injury wasn’t as bad as it sounds. Here’s her arrival photo:

We found a really good match for the transplant, so here she is ready to fly home:

Pepper arrived safely in Southern California and her person wrote:

The other quick fix was a poor little black bunny, 30 years old, who also had a run-in with a dog. Her people found them quickly, but she did have a small tear on her eye socket:
