Did you have any ideas about Sari's techno-organic nature/origin? There's a pretty popular fan-theory that she came from Megatron which gives her a more concrete origine than in the show where she's just some random (weirdly small) protoform that bonded with the professor.

Yeah, so, I definitely think (in the show) Megatron contributed some kind of CNA to Sari's protoform. Whether it was purposeful on the professor's part or accidental because he was literally the only Cybertronian around for Sari's protoform to learn from, I don't know. She was likely made from one of the protoforms that were on the Nemesis, but I think it's curious that they only discovered she was techno-organic after she got hurt. You're telling me she never got hurt when she was younger? That she never had some kind of reaction or needed some kind of maintenance since she's literally made of metal? I just think it's a little ridiculous that she only found out right then and there.

Hello hello! Binged Those Abandoned + Found and I have to say wonderful story eats! I love the little references and added details sprinkled in, and the new character dynamics are very fun! I've got questions and idea spitballing bc your story gives fun thoughts.
Who is responsible for Blitzwing's Triple Changer surgery, since Blackarachnia doesn't exist (Allspark Almanac profile)? Is it someone in the Decepticon forces, or perhaps within the Autobot ranks (*heavily side-eyeing the Jettwins*)? And on that note, is Bumblebee a Triple Changer by way of Allspark energy or hidden coding?
Has First Aid visited the Dinobots since he rescued them? Since 'Total Meltdown' happened offscreen, has 'Survival of the Fittest' happened as well? (Orion's crew meets the Dinobots 👀?)
Since you hinted to Rodimus and Deadlock being friends, and with Blurr as a Decepticon sympathizer, would there be a way for others to communicate their support, like codewords/phrases, certain patterns/actions, or secret drop-off/pickup locations? (I'm imagining Rodimus battling Orion's crew and he says something to tip them off.)
You said before 'Predacon Rising' wouldn't be done since no Blackarachnia/Orion wouldn't do such but you know who would as a sort of revenge? Meltdown. The idea of him trying to turn one of the 'bots technoorganic (sucess/failure notwithstanding) as revenge is fun. Orion could even get involved with a promise of "removing that half" for him.
Bulkhead could show his artistic side by way of architecture design! Since they're building the space bridge with non-Cybertronian materials he could experiment with design to find one that supports the needed structure requirements. And with Soundwave helping to build it, he could get an interest in music, as a nod to Bulkhead getting Sari the xylophone for her birthday in 'Sound and Fury'.
Aww, first off: Thank you! I'm glad that you're enjoying the series. I've been going through quite the writer's block about where to go next, but knowing there are still readers out there happily binging the whole series is nice to know!
Blitzwing in my story was given the surgery by the Autobot science division, as you suspected. I imagine that it was probably something done closer to the end of the war when he was captured as a POW. Since Megatron is a lot more accepting of those who are "unique" in my AU, he would have happily embraced a confused and (slightly) insane Blitzwing into his higher ranks. His prowess in fighting made him a great candidate for promotion. Bumblebee, on the other hand, had some sort of hidden coding within him. The Autobots forcibly put sparks into protoforms programmed with grounder frame-data to prevent any "natural" warframes. The Allspark, upon peering into Bumblebee's spark, recognized that he should have been formed as a flight frame and fixed the mistake by combining the coding in the protoform and in his spark to make him a triple-changer.
First Aid regularly visits the Dinobots, like Prowl was hinted to in TFA. First Aid and Rodimus are the only two Autobots that the Dinobots like. Since Rodimus isn't in any way, shape, or form like Sentinel, I imagine that First Aid was actually willing to introduce the Prime to the Dinobots. The fact that Grimlock and Rodimus can produce flames basically gave them an instant connection, even if it is more of a "call me if you need me" relationship than a "we're best friends" relationship.
Orion has met the Dinobots, which I wrote, but the rest of the crew and Decepticons (except Megatron, who created them) have not. I'm not sure how much the Dinobots will be in the story right now. I love their characters, but they're difficult to write!
Rodimus and Deadlock are best friends who met in one of those classic "abandoned in the wild with no one but each other" tropes. They were actually fighting each other when they crash-landed on an ice planet together and had to rely on the other to survive. They're not in a romantic relationship, they're just best bros. Obviously, Rodimus hasn't told anyone, but Deadlock has no issues telling Ratchet and Orion. He knows they'd probably be like "oh my Primus he made a friend, thank the Allspark". Those two have managed to prevent a lot of deaths already. Rodimus also isn't an idiot. He knew that Orion was watching him, Elita, and Sentinel that night that Sentinel lost his head to Masterson. He's smart and knows when to pick his battles.
Blurr is still relatively new at being a Decepticon sympathizer. Like I implied, Longarm is the one who has been slowly nudgning him in the directon of "wait, they're not evil?" It helps that they're romantically involved.
Huh, that is a good point about Predacons Rising. I'm just not sure how I would incorporate that idea into this specific AU. Maybe if it were from the Autobot's perspective, I could, but I don't really see why the Decepticons would get involved here. Meltdown could maybe intice Orion over, but everyone has helped Orion feel so much more comfortable with his organic side that I feel like it might be a bit of a devolvement with his character if he got involved for that reason.
I do intend for Bulkhead and Soundwave to become friends. Bumblebee and Soundwave too. All 3 love what humans can create and I can easily imagine them sitting together just sharing playlists, shows, and creations. Maybe I'll show some of their bonding in a future chapter! Bulkhead definitely has to get creative with the human-level building materials haha.

Here’s some fan-art I made after reading @sparklesdogs TFA fanfics, Those Abandoned and its sequel Those Found, and while last I checked, the sequel isn’t finished yet, they are fun reads if your interested in reading about a TFA Decepticon/Spider Optimus.
I was interested in drawing some transformers designs for fun, including my own hypothetical Spider-Optimus design. However I’m not overly familiar with transformer/Cybertronian anatomy as I’m a bit newer to the fandom. So I decided that figuring out how @sparklesdogs’s Orion Prime would likely look in his alt mode would be a fun starting point for studying how a transformer’s root mode and alt mode influences their appearance. Overall this was a fun experience and I might do more transformer designs/anatomy studies in the future.

The newest chapter of Those Found was great! I love Bumblebee’s dynamic with all his racing buddies, it really gives more to them from the show. Though I have to ask where did the orange car come from? I don’t remeber them in show.

All of the racers are OCs made up for the purpose of these chapters. I figured that, since I eluded to Bumblebee street racing before, he'd probably find some group of fellow racers to join up with so that he always has someone willing to race. In the show, there were a few cars that the OCs are inspired by, but all of the designs in my story are entirely made up.

So yeah, kinda DEVOURED all your Those Abandoned-Found stories, and I really love them! It's great you found a way to have the team even while being Decepticons become Sari's new family. I very much appreciate the sneaky lil hints at Sari's true origins you've sprinkled in thought, and I can't wait for the truth to come out and Megatron to go through a "I didn't know I was a dad!" panic

The dynamic is definitely starting to shift, especially after that most recent chapter 🤔.
I wasn't very fond of how Sari's heritage was revealed in the show. There was literally no lead up to it apart from mentions of Sari not being legally Professor Sumdac's daughter (I know that was a whole plot point, but I don't think it was done well). There weren't any hints about her being what she is apart from the Allspark liking her. That could've meant anything, so I decided to fix that and actually drop little hints of her heritage around.
Megatron is gonna end up finishing out this story with a bunch of literal children like "how did this even happen" while Orion will be there like "I will kill anyone who even looks at them wrong". They balance each other out, so it's ok. 😂
