Dear Arceus why was it so HOT out?! Living in the world of humans could be a real pain in the ass at times! Not only that, but the house's air conditioner broke. So they had to call the landlord to send out a repairman. Since they were both sweltering in the heat, Matthias offered to wait outside for the landlord and repairman while Eona could go and cool off at the beach. Eona seriously wondered if he cared way more for her than himself... but that's probably what big brothers do for their sisters. She didn't really understand the dynamics of human families at times.

So she went to cool off at the beach outside of the city. Surprisingly, there weren't too many humans there to begin with. Probably because most of them went to the Slateport beach... Ugh... she didn't want to even THINK on how crowded that place would be right now. She sat in the shallow water and sighed as the waves rolled over her lazily to crash on shore. The surf was very calm today. perfect for a little cooling off.

It wasn't often that Eona got to fly about so freely in her true form at all. Sometimes she didn't have time to change back as she escaped trainers and such. It was very annoying, but since she and her brother Matthias were temporarily living in Lilycove City, they didn't really have an option to reveal themselves around the populace. Now that it was night, Eona was finally allowed to soar across the skies at high speeds like she used to. Matthias was watching the house they were renting as she went to take a nice breather from the human world. Hopefully most of the humans would be in their homes or sleeping so she could soar closer to the ground. She wouldn't want to run anyone over....

Zaffre tilted his head slightly, a wide grin on his face. Something seemed different about her, which is what made him go up to introduce himself anyway. Whatever was different though, he couldn’t even guess!

He looked up at her curiously, “Eona? That’s a cool name!” He paused for a second. He hadn’t actually thought of anything to say after introducing himself. He sheepishly rubbed the back of his head, “So uh…”

His expression blanked. Up until recently it was easy to introduce himself to someone. Just a simple ‘Hey I’m Zaffre! I’m a Pokemon Trainer! Are you?’ But he currently didn’t have any Pokemon, so asking if she was a trainer wouldn’t help him much if she was and wanted to battle.

He suddenly felt embarrassed and blushed slightly, “I-I’m not from around here. Do you know where we are?” Man… that sounded awkward. He certainly wasn’t making a good first impression!

"Oh! well Zaffre, first thank you for the compliment. Second, you are in Hoenn. Lilycove City to be exact." She gave him a sweet smile. "Do you need to find a Pokémon Center or a place to stay?" She really didn't seem to be bothered by his awkward introduction or how he first came off at all.

The latias, disguised as a human walking past the shop stopped to look at her for a second in confusion... before making a weird and silly face back at the girl. She had no idea what the human was doing, but it looked like fun!
