I do think a lot of fans do see rep as just a cool aesthetic like taylor said, which is fine, but it’s SO much different to longtime fans. It’s such a vulnerable time to look back on, one where it was truly just us and taylor. Nothing more. We got to watch her ease her way back into the world and continue to show her that we weren’t going to leave her. I don’t think there are proper words to describe what it felt like to experience that raw emotion from her in real time. To a certain extent (obviously not comparable to Taylor’s feelings) I know we all felt that anger on her behalf. We all rejoiced and celebrated her successes when she came back. It was just such an us and taylor moment that nothing else can ever ever compare to. I could talk about this forever by the way.
