Brief synopsis of post so you dont have to read all the words: Astro game on hold, mainly pixel art/art blog now, free pixel art commissions

Since I am impatient and can't wait to learn how to code before trying to make a game from scratch, I cant make a solid base for the astro game without getting frustrated and giving up too easily. I will be waiting until i can actually code decently before tackling this game again, so dont expect very much progress on the astro game or really any game dev at all. Im going to kind of turn this blog into more of random art stuff that I do, probably still primarily pixel art, but there might be a few drawings or other things ive done that i feel like posting for no reason other than i feel like posting them. OH AND If anyone wants a free commission from me, go ahead and let me know in my ask box or something with an explanation or drawing or something you want done. It's free because I dont feel like im good enough to charge (yet) and I feel like getting requests from people to make something will give me more of an incentive to practice and actually complete something.

An alien and Lasagnia. There obviously needs to be a stereotypical alien, so there we go. Lasagnia is from a claymation series that I made a few episodes of but never had the patience to finish but I really like the characters so theyll probably show up a lot in sprites I make.

A festive Robotic Santa Of course you cant expect one santa to fly around and do ALL the work in one night, so there are a bunch of robotic santas flying around helping him out! They run on cookies, milk, and diesel fuel.

Some galactic villains! Well, the first was good then bad, and the second was bad and is now good. Nevertheless they have both been villains once and thats all that matters. Trooper and Saiyan Prince are the next unlockable characters that shall be implemented to the game

Progress! Kinda stuck on collisions atm but after I get that the rest should be easy. Tedious, but easy.

Once I figure out how to turn screencaps into gifs on a chromebook the future progress updates may actually show some actual game mechanics

Zombie and Clown Kinda late for Halloween, but here is a zombie astronaut and a space clown. They are the 7th and 8th unlockable characters in the game I'm making (which still doesn't have a name and I will gladly accept any suggestions for any clever names for this game)

Template and Ninja

Why not make the blank template I use to make these characters a character itself? Its name is template. I really dug deep for that one. And what good game doesn’t have a ninja character?
