My favourite genre of World Heritage Post will always be the ones that essentially changed the vocabulary and/or trajectory of the website, but it did it without even breaking 100k notes. For example, that True Story Post about the Homestuck update where police was called and the officer immediately began reading it when they told him? That post didn't even break 60k notes, but we all remember it, at least those of us who were here. There aren't a whole lot of these particular World Heritage Posts, in fact they're for sure the rarest type, but they do exist, and they did leave an undying mark on this site - and I think that's beautiful, actually.

Unqualified Republican appointments and GOP 3pstein capitalism have abysmal consequences.
personally I'm annoyed by the socioeconomic conditions that made words like "unalive" necessary but simultaneously impressed by the linguistic adaptations young people have made to continue talking about important things while subject to those conditions and I think if you can't hold both of those thoughts in your head you might just be old man yelling at cloud
if they're gonna remake The Princess Bride, it should open with a kid sick in bed scrolling on his phone. his grandpa arrives with a gift--it's a DVD player with a disc already inside. grandpa hooks it up to the TV and presses play. and we all just watch the original 1987 film again.
sorry if this is too kinky but can you hold my hand and tell me i mean a lot to you.
