An update on this AU, since my last post was 8 months ago: Currently, I'm taking my draft of the first installment of the series from Google doc into Ellipsus. Making edits, and overall trying to make the chapters longer. Will be making some posts in the meantime.

Moodboard for Silver Spoons AU! Mo Hong/Ghost King! Xie Lian. The eldest of the four calamities.

I was rereading your Silver Spoon AU stuff (focused on Mu Qing because he's my favourite) and the one talking about when Xie Lian and Mu Qing die and that Mei Nianqing has to burry both his students. Does that mean that his and Mu Qings relationship gets better after Xie Lians death?

Briefly, yes. Mu Qing dies like ~3 years after Xie Lian does, so Mei Nianqing and Mu Qing's relationship did get better briefly after XL's death. Notably MNQ tried to keep MQ from fighting in the civil war, because he doesn't want him to die like XL did. Of course it doesn't end well, and before Mei Nianqing finds out that MQ & XL have become devastation ghosts, he goes to their graves quite frequently. He always leaves purple hyacinth flowers on Mu Qing's grave.
