That looks like an Ovcharka or Alabai dog, which are livestock guardians, bred to protect the farm’s animals. So they aren’t only friends, that dog probably raised and protects that horse.

Do pit bulls like cats?

It all depends on how they are raised. If they are introduced/acclimated to the cats properly than it can be no problem.. My two pitties are great with cats.
