Don't imagine tf!Legs staying later and later at his lab each night until eventually he's sleeping there almost constantly, because he doesn't want to keep feeling the guilt of seeing Zam and Graecie happy together.

Don't imagine Amber or Megi of Juniper finding him eventually and knowing they can't talk him out of it, so instead they insist on "making the place less creepy" just so they can make one of the corners comfortable enough for him to actually get some sleep without hurting his neck.

Anyway Legs and the gaggle of siblings he's ended up collecting having a sleepover in the lab hear me out-

Having tf!Legs “background charactering” from others’s POVs as a Legundo main is so funny because like bro has got the Percy Jackson treatment on LOCK.

From his POV, he’s sweet and awkward and a boyfailure. We see his sillies, his goofs, his dumbasseries.

From other’s POV he’s quiet, pragmatic and holds the ability to shut down a lot of other people’s main weapon. He’s a Lorekeeper, which means by the time he’s distributing info it’s been refined. He comes across as Mature for his Age.

And then he gets near tf!Graecie lol and his Wet Cat Energy potential goes through the ROOF.

at a conference I attended recently, a researcher pointed to the difficulty of finding material in archives because so much depends on the metadata and the terminology used to describe things changes over time. "it would be so helpful," the researcher said, "if I typed 'lesbian' into the library of congress database, it would also show me results that were categorised in the 50s, when the materials were interpreted as 'intimate female friendships'"

which is what tag wrangles at Archive Of Our Own do incredibly effectively: searching for "omegaverse" also leads to "alpha/beta/omega dynamics" and "alternate universe: a/b/o" and so on. but ao3 achieves this frankly incredible categorisation and indexing system by the power of countless volunteers putting in hours and hours of unpaid and unthanked free time, and it's completely understandable that most archives do not have that kind of infrastructure, but also how incredible that a fan-run website has better searchability, classification, and accessibility than the library of congress

I am very much not an artist but there's something about The Flight that has had me itching to pick up a pencil and draw to satisfy something I've never felt before.

Its not great, but for my first piece of art ever, i'll take vaguely humanoid and kinda recognizable. We can only go up from here 👀

I wanna say, props to Legundo. He said that tf!legs would be focused on healthy rejection, and I did not realize how incredible of a story that is.

I have never experienced anything in my own life similar to this kind of rejection, and it’s so eye opening. Even though its fictional its giving me a really interesting perspective and I genuinely feel like its teaching me something. So thanks Legs for writing that.

Pleased to report that after a day of this i am not longer craving caper brine and my mouth is not dry as usual. There's some good suggestions in the notes too that I want to try.

-ancient roman posca: water, red or white wine vinegar, honey, salt, herbs (coriander, mint, thyme)

-switchel: water, ginger, vinegar, sweetener, lemon, salt

-ayran: yogurt, water, salt, mint

-Agua pepino: water, cucumbers, lime, sugar, optional mint.
