My plaster model in 1:20 did not survive last night. However! The process zested a better decision for the plan drawing.

Thankful to have drawn many curves this semester. It started out doing them a lot by hand. Interesting to now grasp what the gravity of them are like digitally. Interior of San Lorenzo excerpt.
Sneak peak into the stage of projecting plans! Very excited to present it to you next week. An Opera is being born...
Pin-up on more proportions. Marble, marble.
History and Theory Workshop with Angela and Troels, celebrating the works of Utzon. My group 3D-modelled Jørn Utzon’s last house, the summerhouse in Mallorca Can Feliz. 1 Section cut.
Success! Arches printed
Carving out marble to form these balconies for Opera singers. Using foam to generate this context.
Spoke to a Danish opera singer Jesper Buhl that could tell me about the requirements of singing outdoor. We talked about the styles of opera, here digging deeper into the Passion. This is the initial sketch I then drew out for him while we refreshed the roles a singer can have and the ability to be immersive.
First pin-up coming home from Florence to reveal the proposal of the Immersive Opera.
Marble 3D prints, this semester I set out to teach myself how to use the Ultimaker. Fascinating. My first project was Can Feliz back in January, using 3D fabrication; hence an earlier post to see exhibition of Utzon’s works.
A change of perspective, The Alps from above leaving Florence-heading to London.
THE MARBLE I came to understand. Magnificent Carrara.
A travel companion in Florence, out measuring stones or sketching observations.
Midcritique board, at this stage the working title is “Blast the Ghetto”.
Sketch model 1:20. Light study.. wonder if that is what my project needs?..
