THE GUY!!!
Hairy Big-eared Bat Micronycteris hirsuta
A bat from South and Central America and Trinidad and Tobago. It roosts in hollow trees, buildings, and under bridges. It feeds on insects, mainly katydids, cockroaches, June beetles, and Lepidoptera larvae, which are gleaned from vegetation. This bat is attracted to katydid calls and is much more likely to be caught in mist nets than baited nets.

Every picture of a proboscis bat looks like somebody meticulously slapped them in a line against a surface like a sticky hand. Stop throwing the bats guys
Proboscis Bat Rhynchonycteris naso
It is found from southern Mexico to Belize, Peru, Venezuela, Bolivia and Brazil, as well as in Trinidad. The bats are nocturnal, sleeping during the day in an unusual formation: most of them line up, one after another, on a branch or wooden beam, nose to tail, in a straight row.
In the photo, the two bats on the lower left are carrying young.

I really love how dedicated these guys are to queuing.
Golden Bat Mimon bennettii
A bat species found in Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname and Venezuela. Usually roosts in groups of two to 20 in wet limestone caves, also has been reported in hollow logs. It probably gleans prey (beetles, katydids) from the vegetation, but could take fruits too.

Do you have a tv show that you have watched every episode more than 10 times?

nastiest trick in the book is getting you genuinely deeply attached to a character whose name sounds fucking stupid in any other context. this WILL happen to you at some point in your life.
Yellow-winged Bat Lavia frons
It has an extensive range throughout sub-Saharan Africa south to northern Zambia. The bat mostly lives in woodland and savannah habitats, preferring acacia trees and thorn bushes near bodies of water. The yellow-winged bat is a sit-and-wait predator. They perch and listen for prey and if it flies by, the bat launches their attack.
