it’s okay to feel what you feel. feelings aren’t wrong or bad. it’s okay to feel. you gotta feel it to heal it. the only way out is through and all feelings pass. it’s going to be okay.
it’s okay. it’s okay to do things that make you happy or forget the world around you exists sometimes. it’s okay to withdraw from the outside. do what makes you feel good or as close to it as possible. doing the easy thing is okay sometimes. take it easy on yourself.
you’re going to be okay. the storm will pass and everything around you will grow. you will grow stronger.
you are constantly evolving. every second is a new opportunity, another chance. you can change your life at any given moment.
please don’t judge yourself for how you feel. we have little control over what emotions decide to pop up, so if it’s something unpleasant, please do not judge yourself for it. talk to yourself nicely. ask yourself why you feel that way. show yourself that same emotional validation you would want to hear from someone else. your emotions are valid and are never wrong.
you are amazing. say in your head “i am amazing.” now if you can, say it out loud, say “i am amazing.” maybe you believe it and can say it with conviction! maybe you can say it sometimes but not other times. maybe you don’t believe it right now. maybe you think you never will. but think about it. after everything, after all of it, despite it all, you are still reading these words. you are still here with us. remember you are never alone. and remember there’s someone here to thinks you’re amazing
remember any negative feeling you may be experiencing now is temporary. the sun will shine again and you will feel better again. it’s going to be okay. things will work out for you
you are healing yourself of generational trauma, bad habits, toxic behaviours, maladaptive coping mechanisms. you are self-aware and find the strength to change and overcome within yourself. you are capable of tremendous and magnificent growth.
you are going to be okay. no matter what happens. i promise. you are going to be okay.
