Android Pre-order!

Hello, here is the pre-order link for Android. This time it should be available worldwide. Please report is it says the app is unavailable.

We are slightly behind because we had to update many certificates and accounts (even Android Bundle ID) before the release to make sure that everything is stored securely. We will open things up shortly!

I don’t know if this has been asked before, but.. Is this app Pansexual friendly? I only ask because a lot of people say that it doesn’t exist, and I don’t know where you guys stand. I really hope I’m not bothering you with this question. I really like the idea of an LGBTQIA+ app. 💜

Yes! We’re still trying to implement everything but we are pansexual friendly. If it falls under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella, like pansexuality, then we stand with you.  Thank you for your question and for giving us some time to adjust everything in the app. We are working toward making SPECTRA as inclusive as possible!

Please advise: do we need ANONYMOUS Check-Ins?

As you know, we have built check-ins for people to see how popular a location is. Last week some users said that ANONYMOUS check-ins are a MUST feature for privacy and safety reasons. For your reference, below is our current screen.

It’s FREE to download. We will try to keep in FREE forever and will let you know if we have to make it a paid app.

Hi there! I just downloaded the app, and I am unfortunately having trouble “signing up” - I keep getting error code 404. Can you help me?

Hi, I really like what your doing and am excited for the full release of the app! However I was wondering if there were going to be any features that would let local users connect? (If not now maybe an idea for a future version??) Again, thank you for the app and I’m excited for the full release!

Great Question! Today we had a meeting with an adviser and discussed this feature. In short, we DO want and are ready to introduce features for local users to connect, but we are afraid that some users will use these features not as intended. It’s a tough question. 

Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Spectra team! I’m super excited cause the app downloaded on my phone! But I tried to sign up and I keep getting, “request failed with status code 404” 🙁 Any ideas how to fix it? Many thanks

Hi, we have disabled new registrations for several days after realizing that we had shipped an older 2-week old version as a pre-order. The pre-order submission process is slightly different from a regular submission and we forgot to update a version. Will fix it shortly and make an announcement. Sorry for the confusion!
