Never thought I would have fun writing code but here we are lol. I have fallen madly in love with Gamemaker Studios. It's heaps better than when I tried to use Godot, not because the engine is bad, more so because I am have the stupid.

I'm back and finally found my passion in game development again. Here is everything that transpired in bullet points:

Cloudnovel isn't powerful enough

My vision for the game too big

working with it becomes super tedious / frustrating / time-consuming / buggy

basically trying to build a real house out of pasta

worked myself into a corner => gave up on the project

ppl had problems with loading and playing the game :(

can't directly fix the bugs bc I can't access the code

can't look at game without getting frustrated

decided to abandon Cloudnovel

realized yesterday that Gamemaker is free now

Installed it and remade the intro screen

works smooth like butter

DEPRESSION / BURN OUT GONE!

New version of Screamer WIP

So, I'm really completely revamping the visuals and assets so bear with me for a couple months while I change the complete look.

Have many of you experienced the same thing?

I've tried to load the game and everything ran smoothly for me, I even tried two computers. In the past, when I played other games, I would go to another tab before my game has finished loading and issues like the above could accure.
