Hey so I haven't been around much (because I've been on vacation like a baws at the beach) but I'm getting back into the swing of things so LIKE THIS FOR A STARTER and I'll get to it after my show today:3
Heading to work. Iâll be on later <3
It is nothing. You should see the      other. Most is not even mine.
âThat is...impressive, but you are dripping on carpet. Go change.â

âLemme just say in my defense that it wasnât my fault that people are idiots.â
âI understand your frustration, Ms. Aaronson.â Pietro was all too aware of just how idiotic the human populace could be. âBut that does not mean you can throw food back at the guests when they get too close to your enclosure.â
Okay TIME FOR BED
Like for a starter <3
There was really only one option available to her at this point. Wanda folded up the report dossier she was holding and flung it at Pietroâs face. So she might have had to cheat a little to get it to its destination. What was the point of having powers if she didnât use them? And heâd definitely deserved it anyway.
âWhat is so important that you have to ruin my wall?â
Of course there was also the matter of having to go get the report. Okay, so she didnât technically have to, but sheâd been sitting for so long that getting up seemed like a good idea. With another sigh, she stood and went to retrieve her report off of her brother.
Pietro couldâve dodged the report, but honestly, where was the fun in that? Huffing out a breath of amusement, he let the report flop onto his head where sheâd thrown it, and peered at her between the flapping pages.
âIt is my wall too.â
Waiting until sheâd pulled herself to her feet and grabbed for her wayward report, Pietro turned his grin, filled with mischief, on high.
âThere is whole city out there for us to explore, and you are in here. Reading.â
Frowning, Wanda looked down at Pietroâs hand in hers. She had grabbed it automatically when one of the doctors had come around for blood tests the minute sheâd stepped through the door. Before anyone else had even realized Pietro had followed her in. Wanda wasnât sure if sheâd been aware that heâd been following her, or if she just always expected him to be there. Both maybe. Either way, she felt a great swell of relief that he hadnât dropped her hand when he found out. Hadnât pushed her away, hadnât abandoned her.
âThere wasnât enough. Or it wasnât the right information. Iâm not sure. Theyâre trying to fix me.â
Inhaling sharply, Wanda turned her gaze back up to her brotherâs face again, watching for Pietroâs reaction. Preparing for the worst. He was already angry, already afraid. Not that she could blame him. She was already halfway ready to forget it herself, to tell him to get her out of here.
âI shouldâve told youâŠâ
Fix her.
They were here trying to fix her. Pietro smothered his knee-jerk reaction, to tell her there was nothing wrong with her, there never was. She was his perfect in every way that mattered and nothing would ever change that, no matter how many experiments they were forced to endure. But--he also remembered what it had been like. To feel as every cell in their body was rearranged at the behest of a madman who had tricked them, twisted their anger and their faith to his own designs.
Pietro hated Strucker with every fiber of his being, but he hated himself more, remembering how heâd convinced a reluctant Wanda to agree to the experiments. Pietro had thought they were fighting for freedom, when really they had been the enemyâs newest pawns. He couldnât fault Wanda wanting to go back to how things were, but he also knew how it felt to be different, to be more and he didnât harbor the same desire to turn back as she did.
Lifting their clasped hands to his lips, he pressed a comforting kiss to her knuckles as he forced his heartrate to slowdown, not wanting to alarm her any further than she already was.
âYou are perfect.â
She was his twin, of course she was perfect.
âBut if you wish--if you trust them...then I will be here to help.â
And to keep an eye on the doctors, ready to rush her out at the first sign of foul play. They mightâve gotten trapped by mad scientists once, but that only made them more adept at getting free a second time.

The life of an Avenger wasnât exactly glamorous, but it had its perks, and free baked good from the small bakery down the road from the tower was one of them. The sugar only lasted in his system for a few minutes, if that, but Pietro never got tired of testing out each and every new creation the shop could created. His latest endeavor, Chunky Monkey Croissant, was turning out be an eye-opener, when he walked out and all but slammed into someone.
A scathing retort was on his lips, his croissant taking up residence on the sidewalk, when he took in just exactly who heâd bumped into and felt all of the air rush from his lungs. Itâd only been one weekend, thirty-seven hours to be exact, nearly ten years ago, but he had never been able to forget her eyes.
âCrystal...â

âNot all of us can be a quick little bastard like you. Â I know how to make a good escape when I need to.â
âThrough vents?â
Yes, Pietro had heard the stories.Â
All of them.

âThat did not go as I planned.â Watching the way the glass shattered on the concrete ten floors blow him had been fun, but he now realized--he should run.

Wanda glanced up from her mission report sheâd been trying to read and affixed her brother her best glare. It probably ruined the effect that she couldnât actually stay angry at him. No matter how much she wanted to shove that tennis ball down his throat because, damnit, sheâd been trying to read this report for two hours and English was already hard enough for her without the racket. The best she could manage was a strange mix of affection and exasperation. She coupled it with the youâre my brother and I have to love but must you be so annoying? sigh that she had perfected over the years.
âIâm trying to read, Pietro.â
Oh, Pietro recognized that sigh, alright, and it made the smirk tilting across his lips even bigger. Tossing the ball even higher, leaving another little scuff mark against the pristine wall, Pietro shrugged his shoulders as nonchalant as always in the face of his twinâs ire.
âYou can read whenever you like.â
Heâd finished his training early that day, intending to spend it with his sister, only to come back and find her nose deep in a stack of reports. So, heâd done the only thing he knew he was best at--annoy her into paying attention to him.

To be fair, if Pietro had learned about Wanda volunteering herself to the scientists for experiments--he wouldâve vehemently dragged her away in a heartbeat. Theyâd both gone through enough pain and torture at the hands of scientists, they didnât deserve to go through it again, but here she was. Heâd had to sneak behind her, followed her to where sheâd been slipping away to for the past few days, and he almost wished he hadnât, because the truth was so much worse than what his imagination couldâve come up with for her secrecy.
But he smiled, and he joked, and he held her hand, all while keeping the bubbling rage and fear pushed down in his chest, one eye constantly watching the doctors and waiting for when they inevitably slipped up.
âTests. Did they not get everything from Struckerâs lab? Why do they need more tests?â

âNo, then I flee before anyone finds out what happened.â
âYou must get caught often. Cannot imagine you are too fast. Do you find place where there is slow security guard?â
âI had good intentions, I did it for a reason.â

âDid you? Did you? Then tell me what that reason is, please. Enlighten me.â
âHow many times are you going to do that, exactly?â (shes-magic-and-myth :D)

âAbout...twenty more times. Maybe thirty.âÂ
Smirk tilting his lips, he tossed the tennis ball heâd found against the opposite wall from where he sat and caught it on the return bounce. As heâd been doing for the majority of the afternoon, and didnât actually plan on stopping anytime soon.
