Y’all actually don’t understand how much that episode pissed me off last night. Because it was going great and then she lost the plot. And you know what’s crazy I would’ve overlooked the stupid Asher thing if she did right by Spencer. Because he wanted a chance to say goodbye to football on his own terms… ok whatever. But it’s the time and effort that she put into that storyline to prioritize it over Spencer getting to celebrate HIS WIN. That’s what rubs me the wrong way about her. Her incessant need to put things above what and who is actually important for this show. You can’t have the first half of the episode be about Spencer reminiscing, visiting his old fields, reconnecting with Chris and making a connection with Shawn about how important this game is for him and then not even making an effort to show how not only winning the game, but Spencer making the game winning touchdown is a celebration for all of them. She had Spencer and Jordan clapping for Asher scoring a touchdown and saluting him when THEY won and she couldn’t even show their supporters celebrate them??? That’s not fair bro idc how you try to twist it. I needed to see Spencer and Olivia kiss on the field, Spencer and Grace, Coop and Chris hug and say how proud they are. Even Spencer visiting Shawn’s grave since he was the push Spencer needed to quell his nerves and remember the dream. But instead she prioritized Patience’s case when she wasn’t even in the episode, Jordan and Layla saying for the thousandth time they’re not ready for marriage and Jaymee jumping on Asher in the 2x4 box house in Crenshaw. If any episode this season needed to prioritize Spencer it was this one. Yes I’m taking offense I don’t care. I hate that woman
