Sometimes it’s the only way to make things better – at least for a little while.” Her shoulders lifted into a small shrug before nodding. “Yeah, but it may take a while since whoever it was covered up their tracks pretty well, but once he’s caught I’m sure he’ll be put in a cell for quite some time.”

         "I fear that if I start rambling to you, it'll never stop. Or you may judge me, which is anyone's fear, really." Although, she couldn't see being judged on something like this. The corner of her mouth curls up slightly, her head inclining in a nod. "Don't the best killers do that? Or is it the dickheads? I'm inclined to believe it's both put into one. I don't doubt that he will be. But that's good to hear, either way."

            Oh look, there came the guilt that went with snapping at this woman. "Sorry. It's just...still a bit hard to deal with, y'know? And I promise not to ramble to you about it. But yeah, I'm -- I'm fine. At least they're doing something about it, right? But yeah, that's good."

Sawyer laughed at that, she didn’t even try to stop herself. “No, no offence at all.” She replied. “Well, guess we’re in this together then.” Sawyer wasn’t jumping at the chance to drag someone into danger with her and ofcourse she would deny that deep down she wanted the company; but she did. “Ive only got one other possible lead and that means dropping in on a…work associate.” She hovered a little too long on the word, trying to select the right description for who they were about to see.

        Perhaps comedian would be her next step in a career if the magician part somehow failed. Which she didn't see that happening, but she did have a knack for having an odd sense of humor. "Okay, then I guess my answer to your question is a no." She nodded. "Awesome." This would take some time off her magician act, but it didn't matter much. She could afford to take a few days off. Or even a week. "Work associate?" She questioned, her brow crinkling. The way Sawyer said it was odd, but she wouldn't mention it.

"You think I’m normal?” Sawyer countered, raising both of her eyebrows. Sure she was a flesh and blood human like any other, no super powers or staggering intellect, she was ordinary to look at for sure. It was simply her lifestyle that was peculiar. “You’re the only Magician I’ve ever met,” Sawyer said before shrugging. “so you’re not doing bad so far.” She said lightly. “Like I said, it’s gonna be dangerous if you’re coming along with me.” She reminded her.

         The blue eyed girl paused for a moment, pursing her lips together. "Would you be offended if I said no? Because I'm really going to for a no right now." Was anyone truly normal? That was the real question there. And the answer was no; no one was really normal. They were just what everyone associated with being normal. "Really? I guess I'm doing the right thing then." To be fair, there weren't many magicians out there. Real magicians, not phony's. "I think I can handle dangerous. I can't know for sure unless I go with you, so...you're gonna have to take me."
