“okay, so maybe it’s a little patchy, but not that much… i don’t know. maybe i shouldn’t let choonie dye my hair for me again.” rin ran her fingers through her freshly dyed light pink hair. “i love it, though.”

spencer was watching her with a smile, approaching her from where he had been sat across the room. “it looks pretty.” he complimented as he loosely wrapped his arms around her waist, looking at her face more than her hair. “as do you.” he kissed her nose with a little laugh.

for one night, minho remembered what it was like before he was a parent. he was able to drink as much as he could handle, eventually getting drunk and running to the dance floor, dragging his friend with him. “come on, we gotta dance!” he laughed, turning to look at him and starting to bust some silly moves.

“oh, no, minho, you know i can’t-” spencer tried to protest but he was already getting dragged along, not able to fight the other boy anyway. he burst out laughing as he watched him dance, then awkwardly trying to bust out some silly moves of his own, fair less adorable about than minho.

“i-i mean… when you say it like that, it sounds like something a b-boyfriend would do.” he said, trying to be casual about it. his cheeks were definitely pink and he was trying to hide that by turning and continuing to walk on their way. “it’s okay, i was the same.” he shook his head, now walking a little closer to him. “nope, not at all. i was just going to rant until it slipped out.” jun grinned. “was gonna rant about how cute and sweet you are, though. too bad you missed out on that.”

hajoon tilted his head with a smile, hoping he wasn’t going to blush over that comment. he didn’t know how soon was too soon to be using that word, or talking about it. “you’re not going to tell me?” he pouted, walking closer to him now. “well, fine. but i won’t kiss you until you tell me.”

“well, uh… that explains all the hand holding and cuddling.” he laughed, feeling so happy and nervous all at the same time. “i… yeah. i have. i didn’t know when would be the right time.”

“why else would i be spooning you into the morning time? and bringing your coffee to you in bed?” he quirked his eyebrows, trying not to laugh again. it was adorable to him that seongjun thought that was all just friendly. “i should’ve admitted it, but you know i suck at talking about my feelings.” he added more sincerely, shrugging his shoulders and looking away for just a moment. “this feels like a perfect time.” he smiled, reassuring him. “did you have a speech planned? i totally interrupted you.”

jun didn’t know how to respond, now looking between their hands and the slightly taller boy. he really was in a state of shock, not expecting for this to go the way it was going. “i… i don’t know what to say.” he laughed nervously. “o-of course i like you. i have for a long time. i just… i was worried that this meant nothing to you.” his smile slowly got wider, not being able to hold it back now. “holy shit…”

hajoon was nodding along as he spoke, smiling just as wide. “you- what? come on, jun! you’re my favorite person in the world, of course it all meant something to me.” he laughed out of endearment, poking his shoulder gently. “have you been planning on confessing all day? is that why you’ve been quieter?”

seongjun looked so shocked and so nervous when his rant was cut off by hajoon’s question. he didn’t realize he stopped walking, and he really forgot where he was. he also didn’t realize how tightly he was holding the other’s hand. all he could do was look at the other boy and let his mind get filled with him and him only. “i… o-only if you’re admitting that you have feelings for me too…” he responded with a nervous smile, not sounding so sure of himself in fear of rejection. he wasn’t sure if hajoon was being serious or not right now.

hajoon had a small, amused smile taking over his features when seongjun stopped in his tracks, eyes taking in his features to gauge his reaction. hajoon sighed softly, squeezing his hand as he glanced down at it. he held it up so it was level with their chests. “i think i make that quite obvious, don’t i?” he shrugged.

seongjun was walking with his best friend after classes. the other had asked him to get lunch with him, and jun really couldn’t pass up the chance to spend more time with him. as usual, they were passing through the park to get to their favorite lunch destination. and whilst jun was in the middle of ranting about something irrelecant, he felt a hand slip into his own, making his heart race faster than it usually did around the boy. he looked up at hajoon, eyes a little wide. his smile was obviously showing how nervous he was. he remembered the conversation he had with his parents just the other day, and that’s when he thought he should just get the courage and tell him. “anyway, uh…” he cut himself off from the previous conversation. “i wanted to tell you something, but i didn’t know how to go about it, or even bring it up, and i don’t even know how you would feel about it, so i’m a little nervous-” he ranted, not getting to the point.

hajoon, opposite to his parents, wasn’t shy about making moves. well, to a point. he wasn’t quite as confident about actually saying it outloud, and it had gotten to a point where he was wondering if seongjun would ever pick up a hint.   hajoon looked at him curiously, trying to read him as he started to get really nervous. “are you finally admitting you have feelings for me?” he asked with a smile, letting his tone land somewhere between serious and joking, giving himself an out if that wasn’t at all where he was going with this.
