- my ask box is open for concepts, visual submissions and general asks only, im not taking any blurb requests until i clear through some of the ones that ive currently got in my inbox

- i do have emoji anons and the ones that are already taken + mobile tags can be found here

- i am not writing for any specific reader descriptions

ive been at my new job a while now and i really like it, and i like the people that i work with, it’s all a good vibe to be honest

as for the writing, for a while I just couldn’t find the time, and then i couldn’t find the inspiration, like id sit down at my laptop and just stare at the outline and be like 😬

but i can feel that lifting now, because it is something that i love doing, and i just spent a bit of time rereading some of my work (including my series’) and as pompous as it sounds, i got to the last chapter of an inconvenient affection and was like ‘where’s the rest 🥺’ so that really made me want to get back into it

so im not over it, and im sure i never will be!

like i mentioned in the previous ask, if all goes according to plan in my personal life, it should free up a bit more time and just make this blog easier and more enjoyable to run which i can’t wait for honestly.

i dont know if my last ask actually went through (i suspect it didnt bc tumblr is shite) but itd be amazing if you came back! i love this blog a lot! however you should only do it if you feel its something you can and want to do. dont force it out. we support you either way💛💛

thank you so much, i genuinely am excited to come back, and no one has been pressuring me or anything while ive been on hiatus (because you’re all angels)

i don’t know if anyone remembers, i think i mentioned it on my main a few times but ive been job searching for the last while. and it’s been very stressful and draining (because i do have a full time job currently but id like a new one that’s more related to my field) and just this morning i did a final round interview for one im really excited about and think ive got a great chance at!

so this is all to say, that my schedule has been bananas since like, may? and if i get this job I’d have a regular schedule that would have me done at 4:30 every day with weekends off, which would mean i could structure things and have more time to work and enjoy tumblr again like i was able to when my days consisted of nothing really 🙃

so it’s more been a bunch of external stuff in my real life, along with bad time management, that made this a difficult page to keep up with, but hopefully all of that will be over soon. ill probably hear back from that employer at some stage next week 🥰

Do you have any tips for writing smut? I keep trying to write it, but every time I do I either get the ick from writing or essentially write something stupid like "their tongues battled for dominance" lol

I totally get that it's hard work and time consuming so the months you did keep this Sideblog running are so appreciated! And unless you feel comfortable with it and find the time and motivation you shouldn't feel obligated to come back!!!

But it's great to hear you say you enjoyed the interactions and that kinda stuff!

i do just wish i was better at time management honestly because i did live running this blog, but it was so so much of my time, which was never gonna be sustainable!

and when i was writing blurbs i missed writing one-shots, and when i wrote those i missed writing a series, and now that ive got a series going i miss writing blurbs 🙈

im a mess! but i would love to get back into this blog again, i loved the blurbs and concepts, but i also loved the submissions and just talking to people or giving weird niche advice

Hi I saw this on another blog and for if you do return you could do “freaky friday’s” where someone asks a nsfw blurb or one shot and you’d do that almost once a week

yeah, that’s the kind of thing i was thinking of, it might not be every week, or a set day, just knowing my schedule is a bit erratic at the moment! but my plan would be to let people know earlier in the day, or the day before so that they could send in asks, and i could answer loads while im in the mood 🥰
