Probably no replies until Monday the 2nd.
Certainly, she hadn’t expected for her hands to be swatted, though would a person even prepare for such an event to happen? The blonde had simply walked in to a nearby coffee shop to get her daily fix. But the roses on the table close to the counter had taken her attention away from the coffee, and she had ended up reaching out to touch it— only to have her hand swatted away. Chaerin let out a surprised yelp and quickly held her hand against her chest. “Oh—” she began, blinking a bit baffled. “I didn’t mean to mess up the arrangements.”
The female seemed startled after his warning, but he merely nodded to that. The wind created by the movements of their hands had caused some of the flowers to roll back to a place he hadn't positioned them in, and so he groaned. Once more, his fingers carefully pushed each rose back into the spot he thought it looked best in. Honestly, he hated flowers or plants, but the way people had just put them down in a fase without even a bit of thought, it pissed him off. 'It's all fucked up now.' he grumbled to himself again. 'Look at what you did.' But he didn't expect her to understand.
'Don't touch that.' He snarled, responding quickly by swatting the stranger's hand away from the roses displayed on a table at the randomly chosen café he'd entered. He wasn't the owner, but he had taken it upon himself to sort out the roses in the fase for the past 10 minutes, placing them each, one by one, in a way it looked perfect. 'I just fixed that.' he grumbled.

nervexendings:
Ah, geundae wae? He mentally asked as the other just let himself sit across him. He was going to enjoy this, isn’t he? Consequentially, he wished one thing he thought he would never wish for. Yang Yuna, where the hell are you? It was too late and all he could do was be cool and go with this. With a sleazy (yet still tinged with bashfulness) grin, Woongjae held out his phone displaying his Spotify playlist that was currently playing Muse’s The Resistance album. Yes, he was an indie rock kind of guy. He isn’t a hipster and he doesn’t see any need to be one or even try to be one. He’s too old to try to fit in and aiming for something so petty is ridiculous to him. Being outgoing and approachable as he is, he tried to engage himself in conversation. Maybe music can take the earlier fiasco to somewhere…less embarrassing and ridiculous, like maybe a common preference in music. ”Ever heard of them?”
Full of curiosity, he watched the male extend his arm to show him the screen of his phone and his eyes darted over to the name displayed along with the album cover. He was quick to recognize the band as it was actually one of his favorite bands. He didn't necessarily have one style of music he liked to listen to. If a song was catchy enough, he'd like it, no matter what genre it was.
'I have, I have.' he told him, now looking back up from his phone. 'So I'm just going to assume you hadn't seen me sitting there, while you were dancing along to their songs?' he asked, just teasing a bit. If anything he would do the same but the difference was that he had never really been caught doing so. And though he'd hate to get caught himself, he enjoyed watching people's faces fill with embarrassment after they'd get caught doing something they thought no one would ever see.
❝ Hm? ❞ She turned to him, as she didn’t hear his words. Though, once he explain how gross and squishy mushrooms were for him, she just bit down on her lower lip, preventing a mute chuckle. ❝ Fine. No mushrooms- Though I’m not sure if it’ll be as tasty. But hey, this way we don’t need to go to a shop because I have pretty much everything. Be happy. ❞ She walked to the fridge, taking out all the needed ingredients and even handing him some of them so he help her. Now, everything was on the counter, so she could start cooking. Youngji didn’t mind him sitting near at all; it even made her happy because she knew that her effords would be appreciated. ❝ What do you think, will it be tasty? ❞
'Honestly, anything that has mushrooms is bad in my opinion.' he told her while making himself fully comfortable on the kitchen counter, legs dangling down and turning his body a bit so he was facing her and he could watch her do her thing. 'Even if I'd had liked mushrooms, I wouldn't have bothered going out to buy, just one ingredient, put in some more of the rest and it should be fine, shouldn't it?'
He was handed the ingredients, however instead of actually helping her out he'd taken ahold of one of the small carrots and simply took a bite from it. To munch onto something as she was preparing the meal, he had to keep himself busy somehow and he'd gotten pretty hungry as well, which seemed to always be the side effect of arguments, or perhaps that was just all in his head. 'I can't predict the future, I don't know.'
viperosh:
lucky for you, my ego is already fully developed! ( ` lets out a loose string of laughter. ) but i know it’s working since you’re actually curious to see what more i can offer. ( ` tosses you a light grin as he chucks the napkins away when he’s done cleaning. ) only an a? i had hot coffee spilt over myself! i say i deserve an a plus, at least.
Hey, as long as I won't get hurt in the process I'll be curious to see what else you've got to show me. (`he leaned back once done cleaning and examined the other's expression out of curiosity) Hey, this is just the beginning right? Gotta start easy, maybe you'll get that A+ later on.
yosori:
To be assaulted in the middle ofthe alley by a bunch of masked men wasn’t how he pictured to spend the evening.A kick on his back sent him flying against the wall, bag of goods dropped andspilled on the road. All he registers are hits after hits, cheek swollen with apurpleish color as his face contorted in pain, letting out a particular cry when one of the bastards stepped over his left knee with great force, until a pop was heard and he could move no more. The horror on their faces surfaced when the dim light from a street lamp glossed over Yoseob’s feature, in realization that they’ve gotten the wrong person all along. Running was the only option before the young adult had the chance to memorize their clothing, and left him hanging there like a nobody. Everything stings and his heart races fast in his chest at the scare he got from this situation. Phone dropped from his pocket inches away from where he was, his arm stretches to the side to grab it and make an effort to text the fastest person that came in his mind. Spencer. Truthfully when he sends the message, he doesn’t know what to expect, as the two shared a hot-cold type of relationship, and neither have been put in such position before. In silence he waits, knuckles slowly coloring red from the coldness fawning over his skin constantly, wishing he had the possibility to at least move from a side to another, to create some sort of friction in order to warm up. The sound of hurried steps catch his attention, surprise crossing over his features when he spots the approaching silhouette, but it washes to quick relief when recognizing the male immediately, his head tilted back against the wall. Lashes fluttering between staying half lidded and closing completely, his breathing becomes gradually labored the more time passes. Lolling is head to the side to force himself to look at the other, a faint smile contours his pale features. “Sorry for the inconvenience, but I’m not able to move.” With his hand, he gestures over to this fractured leg, giving a shake of his head. “Don’t call the ambulance, just—take me home and I’m sure I will be able to find something to take care of it.” He murmurs, a hand pressed against the wall in order to try and balance himself, brows furrowed in discomfort.
It wasn't a surprise, when a small smile curled the other's lips, like it was all okay. The male was really too kind for his own good, always busy reassuring other's, apologizing to other's rather than taking care of himself, and usually he'd say it didn't bother him, it wasn't his business or anything like that but currently, he couldn't help but feel a bit angry about it. This wasn't a time to smile or to apologize for something that was never his fault to begin with- or at least he assumed this had just all been a mistake. Yoseob wasn't one to start fights.
He had trapped the other's chin between his index finger and thumb to examine the bruises along his face, to see if anything seemed out of the ordinary, other than the patches of blue along his face. If the elder had broken anything, he would have to go against his wishes and bring him to a hospital anyway, he wouldn't let him walk around with broken bones. He avoided the bruises but pressed his fingers against the tip of the other's nose, jaw and cheek bones to see if he would give a pained response to it, if so it probably meant his bones were fractured. 'Are you hurt anywhere else?'
Usually he was pretty good at hiding emotions, he wouldn't tell other's how he felt about them and he was even able to lie to himself about the things he felt, but at the moment worry had just taken over, as well as anger towards whoever had hurt his probably most treasured friend. 'Do you know who did this, or why they did this, I'm assuming you're the good guy here and you didn't do anything wrong.' he mumbled while taking the other's hands in his to help him stand up. 'Do you think they're still around, if so we'll have to call the police.'

His attention was fully attached to the sketchbook. Done — he was nearly done with the drawing, he could taste the satisfaction that was coming each time after a finished work. However, upon hearing the other speaking, his head lifted up. His brows were furrowed at first but soon his expression softened and his head tilted lightly to the side. ❝ As often as I have free time — and that doesn’t happen very often. Yourself? ❞ He reached to take his cup and sip of it. He gazed at the other male - unfamiliar face. Or maybe he was way too absorbed into his thoughts that he never really notice him around. ❝ Americano. I’ve gone to a few places but here… ❞ There was a small pause as he took another sip of the warm drink. ❝ They surely make the best Americano around. What about you? What’s your favorite kind of coffee? ❞ The pencil and the sketchbook were now just resting on his lap as his attention was focused on the one sitting on the opposite. Why wasting a chance for a good talk and perhaps a new acquaintance in the face of the other male?
'Never.' he answered, fingers tapping against the paper cup of his drink. 'With an exception of today that is.' he added after a few seconds. He'd never been one of those guys that would go to places like these on his own, he'd always think it looked sort of pitiful, to other's more than to himself. He didn't actually thinks someone looked pitiful if they were to come here by themselves, but he was quick to assume that's how people thought of them if he were to do the same. It was more so a thing in his head.
'Just the basic, black coffee. Some sugar added if I'm in the mood for it.' he said and lifted the cup in his hands to sign that was exactly what he had ordered now. 'I don't usually go out much, or at least not like this where I sit down at a table and drink coffee by myself.' he explained, his chin now resting onto his palm. 'I'm bad at entertaining myself, sitting still, alone, it's terrible.'
He was fishing for subjects to talk about, the rain hadn't stopped and he wasn't going to leave this place until it had. While he was at it, he may as well show some interest in the other male, who had been kind enough to pay for his drink. 'So you draw huh?'

The feline yawned, her face scrunching up into an almost distorted expression. It was way too early in the morning for her but the boss had called and wanted her to be the one to set up the tables and clean the floors before any costumers arrived at Leisure. Iris would never complain of course, but maybe if the restaurant opened 3 hours later, she’d be in a better mood. To try and take a scenic route, the female cut through a local park, taking in the cold, winter breeze before burying her nose in her muffler and closing her eyes briefly. She took this moment to halt her steps and let the fresh air surround her being. “Iris?” The silence was broken by an all too familiar voice. No,no,no! She yelled internally whilst keeping her eyes shut tightly. Iris spun on her heels and began to rush out of the park, not even daring to look back or open her eyes. Who cares if she tripped? She did not want to see him. “Iris!” The male grabbed her arm and yanked her back. Too late.
After waking up from a nightmare, the male had been unable to fall back asleep and so he'd come to the decision to just wake up and perhaps do something with his day, unlike most other days. Whilst taking a long but nice shower, he'd come to the conclusion that he'd just step out and would see where it led him. Minutes later he'd left his apartment, with his hands buried deep into his pockets and his nose nuzzled into the scarf he'd wrapped around his neck, he had ended up in the park, on his way to find a place that sold food. He was hungry enough to be okay with pretty much anything.
The sight of a familiar face halted him, from his spot he tried to find out whether this was indeed the fact of the name that came to his mind but as he saw her move a bit, he caught another glimps of her appearance and he instantly knew it was her. Without hesitating, he decided to approach her, sure, they didn't have the best history, although it wasn't that bad to him, but he still wanted to know how she was doing.
'Iris?' he'd asked, stepping closer to her. She didn't respond, and if anything it looked like she was trying to get away from him. Of course, it wasn't a surpise. 'Iris!'. He'd sped up, to follow her behind and grabbed onto her arm, tugging her back so that she would look at him. 'Are you trying to run from me, mhm?'

────── She knew that her answer won’t help that much since the state she was in wasn’t the best one and her only memory was how she got up from the floor a few minutes ago. She mentally facepalmed herself , starting to get even more embarrassed that she couldn’t give a better answer. Her fingers wrapper around his arm tightly for more support as she tried to walk decently , even though her brain played with it. ────── The girl’s eyes grew a bit wider upon hearing the boy’s words , tilting her head to glance up at him. Eyes analyzing his features as she tried her hard to remember if she saw him before. A sigh left her lips as she shook her head. ❝ I’m sorry — . ❞ Surprised by the fact that she still could link some words together , she let out a laugh. ────── A shiver took over her body as they got outside but it immediately went away when they entered the car. ❝ Who are you ? ❞ Hani finally asked him after a few minutes of silence in which she noticed the fact that she didn’t knew his name already.
As he'd led her into the car, part of him felt worried she may later on think he was some kind of person trying to do something bad to her, purely from the way it looked like. Taking her from that place to his own place. But then again, she had to be thankful as the place she had been in wasn't that much of a safe place and he was only doing her a favor. He would just have to wait and see what would happen later on.
Once he'd managed to put the seatbelt around her, he got into the other side of the cab and did the same thing for himself. Only once comfortable, he peeked over to hear her say some words. But because he didn't understand why she was saying those words, he didn't bother answering.
'Spencer.' he told her then afterwards, as she asked him who he was. 'What about you?' he didn't know her, he'd seen her walk by a few times during the party but they hadn't talked enough for him to know her name.
