Community Committed to Optimism and being a friend of youth. We act to bring hope and a positive vision. We act to 'bring out the best in youth, our community, and in ourselves". We sponsor an annual Youth Spoken Word Slam (spesoptimistslam.org) where youth can compete for internet service/educational scholarships/tech tools, and several other community and youth centered and initiated service projects. We meet on the first Thursday of each month for lunch 11:15 AM live or via Zoom and have a Second Saturday Social or Service Fun with Friends Day, 2 PM, in February, March, April, May and June.
