The Mosaic Trail

The Grateful Dead section of The Mosaic Man, Jim Power’s lamppost dedicated to the Fillmore East (1968—1971). The theater, which was located at 105 Second Ave, quickly became known as “The Church of Rock and Roll,” with performances from acts like The Allman Brothers Band, The Jefferson Airplane, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, John Lennon and Frank Zappa.

In 2010, Burma held its first elections in 20 years. As part of its campaign to help free Burma's 2,100 political prisoners, Human Rights Watch created a giant installation at New York's Grand Central Station. Consisting of hundreds of prison cells, a closer look reveals that the cells bars are actually pens. Visitors could remove the pens to symbolically free the prisoners and then use the pen to sign a petition calling for the release of these innocent prisoners.

Quelques très bons exemples de campagnes d’affichage…

Le tuyau pour la gestion de l’eau est de Denver réalisée par l’agence Sukle.

Le panneau en or vient de Vancouver réalisée par l’agence Rethink. La légende dit qu’il est vraiment en or (ou recouvert d’or).

La panneau pour Kill Bill est d’Auckland réalisée par Saatchi & Saatchi. Mon préféré.

L’immeuble “déformé” vainqueur d’un Lion d’Or à Cannes en 2009 nous vient de Shangai et du Haitong Securities building. Réalisé par l’agenceFirstell Communications.

Hotwheels dont nous avons déjà parlé dans un précédent post, nous fait une belle campagne à Bogota, réalisée par Ogilvy & Mather.

Enfin, les lames de rasoirs nous viennent d’Allemagne est sont réalisées par Venividi.
