This was hopeless. He hadn’t seen anyone he recognized, the culture on this planet seemed so unfamiliar, and worst of all, most of the norms back home seemed entirely foreign here. There was no sign of Rey or Poe (or even Finn, despite his initial dislike toward the ex-Stormtrooper), but at least no one seemed to know what the First Order was. Then again, nobody understood him here.
BB-8 had to wonder why he was brought here. He was nothing more than an astromech, built to control the power distribution of Poe’s starfighter. Maybe there was a purpose to this, or maybe he wasn’t looking hard enough? Maybe his friends were here, he just couldn’t find them...? Whatever the case was, this was clearly too much thinking for as small of a bot as himself, and BB-8′s dome-like head was beginning to spin.
He sighed. This was too much. He wanted to go home. Not like his apartment “home,” but home. He was miserable.
That is, until rolling back to his given apartment did he see that familiar tousled hair. No. It couldn’t be...! There was no way--! But... Maybe--?
And so, cautiously (yet also excitedly) did BB-8 approach the man. All that came from the bot was a near-whisper: ❝ Nyroom...? ❞"
