I would be satisfied if it turns out all the human characters "ran away" to the digital circus to escape some problem or trouble in the real world and that Jax's deal is that he was just an angry kid and didn't really have any serious problems but ran away regardless. He panicked and chose to stay because he didn't want everyone to find out that he ran away from a loving home because he was asked to clean up his room or something. If the others all chose to enter the circus out of desperation (incurable illness, last chance to prove themselves, etc.) then it would be that much more tragic/comedic for one of them to have created their own desperate situation (others' finding out you had no reason to run away) only after arriving at the circus.

ohhh my god in todays episode when he hands izutsumi her bowl of the barometz meal he calls her "neko-musume" or 猫娘

netflix translates this as "cat girl" but it literally translates to "cat daughter" (猫 - cat and 娘 - my daughter)

This is not that uncommon, because musume can also mean someone else's daughter. It does show that senshi thinks of Izutsumi not as a cat but as someone else's child, much like he used to think of Chilchuk. (This time he's right tho, she's babey)
