A bunch of TADC worldbuilding questions
A lot of questions we're unlikely to ever get answers to.
Do you think Ragata misses the version of Jax he was before his friends abstracted? (And yes, I'm sure he wasn't always like that — in her conversation with Kinger, Ragata says she doesn't want to see Pomni turn into someone else before her eyes. She's already seen it happen to Jax, and she “let him down”.)
How many losses has Ragata experienced? (After Kinger, this sweetheart has been in the circus longer than anyone else, which means she has had to deal with loss more than once. Plus, she herself said, “Every time I think I'm ready, but then we put up the photo…” - which means it has already happened several times.)
How much self-awareness do abstracted players retain? (If Queenie recognized Kinger, then some of her memory remains, and… does that mean their suffering down there is even worse than we thought?)
Can players simply ask Caine to create anything for them? (Not an adventure, but, say, tools or instruments. Drums for Zoobl, for example. Or personal stove, just in case somebody will crave sphagetty in 3am.)
(SOLVED!) Can players take props from adventures? (For example, candy from the Candy Kingdom. Or clothes from the adventure in the shopping mall (official merch one). The promo art suggests yes, but I doubt Caine actually allows it. EDIT: yes, they can)
Are there other forms of entertainment in the circus besides adventures? (Movies, books, comics? There are magazines, we saw that in the Zooble hands once, and they are obviously generated within the circus. What's in them? AI slop or something meaningful? (For example, some classics without copyright))
What is the circus's rating? (Caine pretends it's G, but considering the horror and gore, it's more like an old-fashioned PG-13. By today's standards, it's definitely R.)
