Ok but here’s my thing yes Michael showing up brought me to tears and I won’t say it didn’t BUT I thought Parabatai could somehow feel when their parabatai died kinda like Alec and Jace or Will and Jem so my question is how dense is Robert lightwood really to have missed that? Like if I’m wrong or have forgotten something I’ll happily eat crow but I’m 99% sure Robert was supposed to feel Michael die.

Because technically Robert, Maryse and Hodge were exiled by the clave and exile is supposed to break the parabatai bond (which is why parabatai are required to stay together.) This is also mentioned when Julian and Emma approach Robert asking him to exile him to break their bond in LoS.
