So I tried to explain to my daughter that Opal is going to have babies..

Me: “Kiara, you can’t play with Opal anymore because she’s going to have babies soon.”

K: “babies?”

Me: “yes, like aunt Ri’s kitty had babies. Opal will have her own babies soon too.”

K: “…….. Opal is having kittens?????”

Me: “kind of but they’re called puppies!”

aaaaaaand she proceeds to run around the yard screaming “kittens!”

Dogs are so much easier than kids. Ugh. My toddlers vocabulary is crazy impressive for her age but she’s impossible to reason with when she decides something.

Some pictures from my walk with Zelda today. I don’t have very many profile pictures of her, so this was a success for me! I love looking at her stop and muzzle in profile...she’s so cute!
