I have chronic migraines so there will be posting about that too when an attack hits or I’m seeing something I wanna have on my blog about it. 

I’ve been in fandom spaces since late 2018 and am still very much active in my first fandom even if it’s another corner of it.

I write fanfics just as long and it genuinely makes my life so much better ever since I started.

Warning, I’m a RPFer so if that bothers you feel free to block, but I won’t allow harassment against anyone including myself.

My fandoms tend to switch a lot but some stay.

The biggest thing is German YouTube (RPF) where I came from the Freedom Squad Bubble and now chill in the extended Buben bubble. 

I also enjoy the GHG bubble a lot, especially around Craft Attack time and am a somewhat active Dimeax viewer since around January.

My biggest/most important project currently is my shared AU of the CA13 Ori RP with @/paryyys centering around ZombeyGHG, a ship I kinda coined and am very glad to explore together with Parys :D

Also really into Jolly and the throuple ship of Moggy, Zombey and Mave (Maggey). But I’m honestly such a multishipper I ravish in all kinds of interactions xD

My oldest ship’s DadoSaft. They are everything to me even though I don’t actively write for them anymore.

GHG Bubble’s “just hit me with it”, I’ll ship it, ig, mainly Dimerax, Basti/everyone and platonic Basti-Noty (thanks to wonderful @/friendshipmoony), tho.

Through Dima I got into MCSR in like early May, where I became a big Haxfume truther but I honestly am such a multishipper here again and Hax is my village bicycle xD

I want to write more about them, so wait for that, ig :D

I’m still kinda scared of international mcyt because you don’t hear good in German YT about these communities. Especially the “casual” fans seem really weird, because I’ve never heard of a community this hateful and toxic, ngl… if you harass me or other people you’ll get reported and blocked.

Three shows (and for one the book series I still need to finish) I adore are Lockwood & Co, Julie and the Phantoms and Dead Boy Detectives. One thing that seems to never be talked about with migraine is breathlessness. At first I thought it was a Me-Experience or not connected to migraines. Even when searching for it no source mentions it but in a Reddit Thread other migraine sufferers also described a shortness of breath or pressure on/in the chest.

How come this seems to be a somewhat common experience but not a single migraine info site mentions it?

It’s actually one of the worst symptoms for me as I have it with every (stronger) attack and sometimes also as prodrome (like right now ig).

It’s so bad I can’t even sit without feeling like I’m suffocating while breathing. It makes physical work and also mental work so much harder as I start to panic and therefore get even less air in. Sometimes even moving my hands/arms has me breathless like I just climbed two sets of stairs.

It feels like the breath I’m taking is smaller than usual, like my nose suddenly can’t breathe enough air in to fill my lungs. It’s similar to a stuffy nose but without it being stuffy.

Btw, I’ve brought it up with my neurologist on my last appointment and she already nodded knowingly before I finished explaining it.

Apparently it’s connected to migraines fucking with your blood pressure and pulse. So your blood pressure falls while your pulse goes haywire and that’s causing dizziness, the shortness of breath, black spots in the vision and all the other stuff connected to fainting/your circulatory system being fucked over.

For me it feels like an enormous amount of blood is being pumped through way to small capillaries in my head and my brain behaving like the membrane of a speaker pumping with bass.

Heat Intolerance

This disability pride month I'd like to talk about heat intolerance. Because honestly although it's not the first health issue that presented symptoms in my life. It was the first time I was like "I don't think my body works right".

And honestly given disability pride month is during one of the hottest months in the year. It seems fitting. Especially because there's a lot of disabilities and medications that cause it.

What is heat intolerance?

Simply speaking it's the inability for the body to regulate it's temperatures especially in hot settings to cool itself down.

Why is awareness important?

Because gaslighting people or worse not providing them a place to cool down just because you "feel fine" is extremely fucking dangerous.

What are the medicines that can cause heat intolerance?

Antihistamines (Allergy medications) . Decongestants (Sudafed or any medication that has the D at the end of it). Stimulants (ADHD medications. Steroids. Caffeine.) Beta-blockers (blood pressure medications). Overactive bladder treatment. Psychiatric medications (including but not limited to medications for depression and anxiety). Pain relievers. Antibiotics.

What medical conditions can cause heat intolerance?

EDS (Elhers-Danlos syndrome). Autism. ADHD. Migraines. Brain/spinal-cord injury. Sensory processing disorder. Chronic fatigue syndrome. Endocrin problems. POTS. Menopause. Hypothyroidism. Diabetes. Heart Disease. Multiple sclerosis. Mental health disorders.

What should I do if I suspect I have heat intolerance?

Reduce time outside during hot months. Keep your electrolytes up. Drink plenty of water. Stay out of the sun whenever possible if outside. Be aware of the symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

Clothes that are best worn for heat intolerance. Loose lightweight breathable fabrics. Natural fibers. Long sleeves that protect from sunburn as sunburns will increase your risk. Light clothes that reflect light. Wide brimmed hats that shade the face and neck.

Cool. So what are those symptoms I'm supposed you be looking for?

Headaches. Excessive fatigue. Mood changes. Muscle cramping or weakness. Nausea/ vomiting. Rapid heartbeat. Excessive sweating or not sweating at all.

When should I do to the doctor?

If you suspect you have heat intolerance you can go to your PCP to discuss what medications you may be on and what you can do about it. Otherwise, please go to the emergency room if you have symptoms of heat stroke.

This is good information and all but why are you making this post?

To raise awareness. Not just for the people that have it but weren't aware of what it was called. But for all of the idiots that tried to gaslight me when I was in school because I was like "I don't think this is normal. Every time we do our mile run outside I vomit all over the place but other kids aren't doing that."

Also because people always blame me for over heating if I wear long sleeves or pants. I always like to take notes from what people in the middle east wear because they literally live in the excessive heat and spend long hours in the excessive heat. Often in clothing that covers most of their body. They've gotta know what they're doing, right?

Hab mich gerade gefragt, wann Shandrews als ship so richtig Fahrt aufgenommen hat. Dass Fandom und Shipping wie wir's heute kennen an sich ihre Anfänge in den 60ern hatten, weiß ich ja, aber wann ist das in der Form bei den Drei ??? Fans angekommen? Gerade das Shipping. War das von Anfang an? Hat's gedauert bis die Akzeptanz für Queerness etwas weiter verbreitet war? Oder war's davon abhängig, wie viele Folgen es gebraucht hat um genug Shandrews Momente anzuhäufen, dass sich Leute gedacht haben "hmmm.. Da kann man was draus machen"?

Ich hab als Kind fast ausschließlich Die Drei !!! gehört daher hab ich außerhalb der neuen Filme zugegebenermaßen sehr, sehr wenig Wissen um Die Drei ??? herum und könnte nicht mal ne grobe Schätzung abgeben; Dennoch interessiert es mich gerade brennend, wann die Geburtsstunde von Shandrews (und Shipping im DDF Fandom generell) stattgefunden hat. Kann da irgendwer mehr zu sagen? Ist das überhaupt so richtig rückverfolgbar oder werde ich für immer neugierig bleiben müssen, was das angeht?

Das ist ne super spannende Frage. Ich glaub, um sie richtig fundiert zu beantworten, müsste man sich sowohl die Geschichte des ???-Fandoms an sich als auch die Entwicklung von deutschsprachigen Fancommunities und Shipping allgemein ansehen.

Prinzipiell würde ich sagen: irgendwer hat garantiert schon in den 90ern irgendeine Folge gehört und danach ne PeterxBob Kurzgeschichte in sein/ihr Schulheft gekritzelt. Aber die Entwicklung eines Fragezeichen-Fandoms setzt erst mit den 00er-Jahren ein (Toteninsel als Jubiläumsfall in 2001 ist da ein wichtiger Meilenstein). Andreas Fröhlich berichtet auch beim Bobcast, dass sie als Sprecher in den ersten Jahren/Jahrzehnten gar nicht wirklich bekannt waren oder in Erscheinung traten. Und ich glaub, sowohl für die Fandombildung als auch fürs Shipping ist die Der Seltsame Wecker Livetour von 2009 extrem wichtig (Worte nur Worte hat SO VIEL losgetreten, wenn ich einen Geburtsmoment bestimmen würde, wäre er das). Parallel dazu wurde Shipping halt was, wozu man sich im Internet ausgetauscht hat - da müsste man sich mal durch die fanfiction archive auf livejournal/animexx/fanfiction.com/fanfiktion.de wühlen, um zu schauen, wie viele Shandrews-Geschichten es damals schon gab. Dann kommen in den 2010ern noch tumblr und Ao3 dazu, die die moderne Fandomkultur prägen, parallel zu immer mehr neuen Fällen und shipbaren Momenten und einem Bewusstsein der Autor*innen und Sprecher dafür, dass es Shipping innerhalb des Fandoms überhaupt gibt und die es mal mehr, mal weniger augenzwinkernd bedienen (ich glaub, Der namenlose Gegner z. B. hat für viele Ships viel losgetreten, genau wie die Kusszene im Verschollenen Piloten). Für die jüngere Generation kommen dann in den letzten Jahren noch die neuen Filme hinzu, die für viele ein neuer Einstieg ins Fandom sind.

Und parallel vom Canon gibt es dann die Eigendynamik des Fandoms.

@thewindkind hatte hier mal ne super interessante Aufstellung gemacht, wann welche Shandrews-fics auf Ao3 entstanden sind, und da lässt sich ein deutlicher Boom ab 2020 abzeichnen, und seit dieser Aufstellung Anfang 2024 hat sich die Zahl der Shandrews-fics in den letzten zweieinhalb Jahren ziemlich genau verdoppelt (da könnte man wahrscheinlich auch noch aufzeigen, welche fics/Autor*innen besonders aktiv und/oder prägend waren). Plus, was auch immer das Shandrews-Fandom drüben auf Tiktok veranstaltet, aber das weiß ich nicht.

Lange Rede wenig Sinn: Wenn ich müsste, würde ich Worte nur Worte als Shandrews-Geburtstunde benennen, glaube aber, das Fandom in seiner jetzigen Form hat sich vor allem in den letzten 5-6 Jahren gebildet.

Ich habe mich mal ganz schnell ins Fanfiktion.de Fandom geclickt und geschaut wie’s da aussieht.

Die erste Fic dort ist aus 2006.

Die erste Ship-Fic hat mich ehrlich überrascht, weil das ist eine PB&J Fic aus 2008!

In 2008 habe ich insgesamt 3 eindeutige Ship-Fics gezählt: 2x PB&J, 1x PB (ich schreibe jetzt mal nicht jedes Mal Shandrews)

2009 gibt es 4 PB Geschichten, die erste davon gibt „Der Namenlose Gegner“ als Inspiration an. Interessant ist hier auch, dass alle 4 Geschichten nach November entstanden sind. Ich würde dann mal vermuten, dass die Live Tour im Oktober oder November lief, haha

Als letztes habe ich noch 2010 angeschaut und da sind es schon 8 klar erkennbare PB Geschichten, eine die nach PB klingt und eine bei der ich nicht sagen kann ob‘s PB oder PB&J ist. Dabei sind 3 (also fast die Hälfte) tatsächlich von einer/einem Autor/in, während bei den anderen kein Name/Profilbild bei meinem kurzen Skim als wiederkehrend rausgestochen sind.

Insgesamt wurden bis 12.2010 auf FF.de 57 noch zu findende Drei Fragezeichen Fanfics gepostet 17 eine Variation von PB enthalten.

Ich bin mir nicht mehr ganz sicher aber der Shipname Shandrews ist auf jeden Fall auch 2009/2010 schon einmal aufgetreten, nicht bei jeder aber 1 oder 2 Mal habe ich ihn doch entdeckt.

Ich würde zwar gerne ein Vergleichswert zu 2020 und 2025 machen, aber dafür fehlt mir gerade wirklich die Zeit, weil FF.de leider nicht das wundervolle Ao3 Tag System hat und ich händisch zählen müsste.

Für Fanfiktion.de würde ich sagen stimmt deine Einschätzung von wann das Ship wirklich aufgekommen ist, also ziemlich eindeutig!

OMG ich LIEBE dass du nachgeschaut hast YES Statistiken!!!!!!!!!!! Vielleicht überprüf ich heute Abend nochmal animexx und livejournal, ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass bei 120 Minuten auch immer mal wieder Fragezeichen Fics gepostet wurden.

Deine Oktober/November Vermutung zu den Tourdaten vom seltsamen Wecker stimmt übrigens auch:

Okay, ich habe gelogen, ich habe mir doch die Zeit genommen und für 2020 und 2025 gezählt.

Diesmal habe ich neben PB und PB&J auch noch jeweils JP und JB sowie die Ships mit Skinny reingenommen. Ships mit einem/mehreren der drei und/oder Skinny mit einem anderen Charakter zählen nicht als Ship Fics (also z.B. Justus/Hugenay), dafür war ich zu faul.

„nicht erkenntlich aber P/B/J/S“ schließt alle Stories ein bei denen ich nicht erkennen konnte, welcher der drei mit Skinny geshippt wird oder ob‘s PB&J oder eine einzelne Kombi ist.

Interessant finde ich, dass insgesamt in 2020 genau 50 Fanfics mehr auf Fanfiktion.de veröffentlicht wurden, aber das lässt sich vermutlich durch Corona erklären.

Der Anstieg im Dezember lässt sich durch die/den Adventskalender erklären. Was im April/Mai 2020 abging wissen wir glaube ich alle haha

Der Anteil von Ship-Fics war in 2020 etwas über 10%-Pkte höher als in 2025, worauf ich das zurückführen würde, erläutere ich später noch.

Während in 2020 eine deutliche Häufung von Skinny Ships zu erkennen ist (52,17% aller Ship-Fics) sind es in 2025 deutlich weniger (16,99%). Vor allem SP ist hier deutlich zu erkennen, da hier über 25%-Pkte Rückgang zu erkennen sind!

JB wurde in beiden Jahren nicht geschrieben.

JP wurde in beiden Jahren numerisch gleich oft geschrieben.

In 2025 waren Fanfics über 10%-Pkte schlechter eindeutig erkennbar als in 2020.

PB hat zwischen 2020 und 2025 knapp 20%-Pkte an Relevanz gewonnen. PB&J blieb stabil mit einer Abnahme von rund 1%-Pkt.

PB&J und PB stehen also nicht wirklich in Konkurrenz zueinander.

Skinny Ships zeigen jedoch eine vermutliche Konkurrenz zu PB, sowohl ganzjährig als auch monatlich wurden tendenziell weniger PB Geschichten veröffentlicht, wenn mehr Skinny Fics geschrieben wurden, zur genauen Einschätzung müssten mehr Daten erhoben werden.

Während mir in 2025 fast keine wiederkehrenden Namen aufgefallen sind, sind mir in 2020 drei Namen herausgestochen.

Tiargo - fast ausschließlich SP Geschichten, sehr eindeutiger Beitrag zum SP Ship. Ebenfalls auf Ao3.

crazywalls - größte Variety, wenn du ein Ship hast, crazywalls hat’s geschrieben (great Fics btw <3). Ebenfalls auf Ao3.

TheWolfPrince - auch viel Variety, v.a. auch Sachen, die in meine nicht-Ship-Fic reinzählen, Beitrag zu Ship-Fics hauptsächlich SP. Ebenfalls auf Ao3.

Das sind wahrscheinlich Namen, die mir dadurch besonders aufgefallen sind, dass ich ihre Geschichte kenne (und/oder auf Tumblr folge lol)

Ich glaube, besonders das „Ebenfalls auf Ao3“ ist für die Statistik ausschlaggebend. Erstens sind die Geschichte von Leuten auf Ao3 typischerweise besser gekennzeichnet (Ao3 Tag-System sei dank), weshalb sie eindeutiger in die Zählung mit einfließen. Zweitens hat Ao3 einen progressiveren Vibe. Es ist also für mich nicht unbedingt unverständlich, dass Autoren die auf Ao3 crossposten eher Ships beitragen, die weniger offensichtlich oder vielleicht sogar „tabu“ sind. (Ich will damit nicht sagen, dass irgendein Ship besser oder schlechter ist, like obviously, oder das FF.de irgendwie veraltet oder so ist, Ao3 ist einfach dafür bekannt, dass man dort alles machen kann) Drittens, Autoren die auf Ao3 veröffentlichen, haben vielleicht eine höhere Chance länger zu bleiben. Zumindest sehe ich bei meiner eigenen Fic einen Unterschied so hat sie auf Ao3 rund 20 Kommentare bei 1000 Hits während auf FF.de 12 Kommentare auf 3,6k Hits kommen. Kommentare machen nun mal mit am meisten, dass ein Autor im Fandom bleibt. Viertens, auf Ao3 gibt es (in meiner Erfahrung) eine Tendenz zu kürzeren Geschichten bzw OneShots während auf Fanfiktion.de deutlich (abgebrochene) MultiChalpter Works überwiegen. OneShots gehen natürlich stärker/deutlicher in die Statistik ein.

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich noch den Vergleich Jan/Feb 2020 vs Rest 2020: Ab April spiket die Zahl der Fanfics deutlich, also können wir wohl sagen, dass die erste Welle der Pandemie dem Fandom deutlich Schwung verschafft hat! Um das wirklich komplett einzuschätzen müssten jetzt noch die Zahlen für 2019 erhoben werden (und 2021-2024) aber dafür habe ich jetzt wirklich keine Zeit. (Ich muss für meine Klausuren lernen)

Wenn jemand mit mehr Ahnung von Statistik meine Zahlen und Schlüsse nutzen/überdenken will: Gerne! Ich würde mich freuen ne actual fundierte Meinung zu hören :D

I just compiled a survey on the View of Content Creators in different communities, because it interests me.

So two questions:

Would you be open to filling one out?

And

Do you think other people from SMP communities and even other parts of content creator communities (such as GTA RP, IRL streamers, etc.) would be open to filling it out? Especially outside of Tumblr too.

I would really love to get data on this but I don't know if and how I could reach different communities to get actual results that give representative data.

I would make a side for the actual survey because I wouldn't want it connected to my main because of ✨harassment✨ but a new blog has even less reach than my cute little main lol
