In honor of Ikeda Shōko 池田 晶子 (real name Terawaki Shōko 寺脇 晶子). She was one of the amazing animation directors of Inuyasha, as seen above.

She went on to become the chief animation director for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Sound! Euphonium. The Violet Evergarden film was one of her last works as an animation director.

To Ikeda-sensei and all the talented staff we lost in the KyoAni attack, you will always be remembered.
