Morgana listened as Elise cleared up what exactly her followers were looking for. “Power? My, our forces seem to be searching for the same things, just for different purposes. While we seek revenge, your disciples wish to please your god,” she said. “It is indeed strange, as you say, how they are not willing to fight, but want power. Perhaps it is that power that will give them strength, security, and peace of mind. Hmph…”
She looked on as Elise displayed her poison’s extent. “So your god’s poison is something far better than that?,” Morgana asked, intrigued. “Do tell me what you can, if your spider god allows you to? Your poison may have easily burned through that tree, but have you tried it on immortal skin like mine?” The Fallen Angel wasn’t suggesting that Elise give it a try on her at the moment. Heavens, no. “But, I’ll gladly take a sample and I’ll report back to you my findings. I’m sure your god will be pleased.”
The Fallen Angel grew a little uneasy and suspicious at the mention of any changes to her body. A woman’s body was her business and her business alone. She was thinking twice now before letting foreign bodies enter it. What if Elise was going to double cross her in the end and make her like one of her spider god’s followers? No, she didn’t want to think about that possibility, but it still had to be considered.
"If it’s sacrifices you want, many of Noxus’ poor and sickly are perfect for your god. Does he like his sacrifices full of pain and spite? I’ve got plenty, and those mortals are a dime a dozen," Morgana scoffed at the idea of just rounding up measly mortals for poison. Well, if it was as good as Elise said it is, then she figured that it might be worth it. "As for changing my appearance, I must know the full terms and conditions of this… change. Forgive me for being so skeptical, but I really must blame some past acquaintances I’ve had for my suspicion. They, too, offered me power in exchange for a change to my appearance."
Gulping a little, Morgana didn’t dare say what became of her after that ordeal. A monster now resided within her body and there was no way that she knew to get rid of her. Returning Elise’s bow with a short, curt one of her own, she replied, “I do not expect you to get involved with this war. Your spider god would not want to waste any energy on a conflict that is worlds away. I do appreciate your offer, though, Spider Queen.”
