mannnn i really wish any of my friends would play outer wilds + dlc. i gently bring it up periodically and nobody’s all that interested, and that’s fine, but also the way the final bit of this game altered the entire trajectory of my life, like. i just want them to be here with me in that? sitting in the way this game addresses the wonder of learning and loving, as well as the dlc’s crucial addition of the brutal fucking fear of change and uncertainty—like, join me here, my loves. join me in the language of this. even if it’s over now, i had a good time learning.

it’s different than i’d envisioned. whatever happens next, i do not think it is to be feared.

I cannot express enough how beautiful of a story Outer Wilds is.. I’ve been playing for a little over a month (took a lot of breaks because I’m in the middle of moving) and I just finished it for the first time last night, I’ve been so emotional since 😭. I love exploring a game to its last minute detail before actually completing it which is why it took a while to beat and it has genuinely gotten me through so much these past hard weeks. It hasn’t even been 24 hours and I already wish I could play it for the first time again, I can’t imagine how people who played it all the way back in 2019 feel… Truly an amazing game <3
