Its crazy that every character in iwtv experiences intense rage, justified and unjustified, but of all of them Claudia is the one who gets her rage treated like the core of her character. Occasionally its shoehorned for the sake of lesdaughter parallels (because a white man raging over his patriarchal power being diminished is exactly the same as a black woman angry at being abused her whole life) it always ignores her immense love, her desire to love and be loved. It ignores what I consider to be her main trait which is her steadfast pursuit of joy. Like she would do anything to be happy. She throws away all morals because she knows deep in her heart that she deserves to be happy and that she can be.
