Thinking abt how just by the virtue of sandra lynn being an elf a freshly 18 sandra lynn would probably look more like a 13-15 yr human

I know the sponsorship was basically just taking LinkedIn's money and giving it to Jake but I think it was also to prove that they absolutely could put advertisements on Dropout because there are plenty of advertisers who want in, and that they actively choose not to. And Sam Reich proceeded to build an entirely new and elaborate set with Dropout money, pay the cast and crew with Dropout money, donate the entire sponsorship to one guy, and also make the sponsor look dumb as hell in the process.
