It’s my mom’s birthday today. She would have been 61. On one of her birthdays I gifted her this pen since she loved animals so much. Every once in a while she would tell me she always carried it in her purse, never leaving her side. Sure enough on the day she passed away it was in her purse like she always said. Breaks my heart.
