You have been trying to disconnect yourself from reality for so long, that now you feel as if you don't belong here. You see yourself as an alien amongst other people. You long for a home that doesn't exist.
Self-care is also who you let around you.
It’s okay to be angry that you have to live with what they did to you. It’s okay to acknowledge that it’s not fair. Because it isn’t. You deserved so much better and I’m sorry you didn’t get it.
