As a little girl during the visits with my mom I’d remind myself to constantly check the time. I wanted to soak up my time with her as much as I could so reminding myself to look at the time felt like some sort of magic to make the days feel longer. So random I don’t know what triggered this memory to come back to me today but I haven’t thought about that in years. So funny how I’ve always been so ritualistic. Small ocd tendency maybe? Who knows. To this day I have my small rituals I upkeep with every single one of my loved ones. I wonder who’s picked up on them
