Hi! I'm Nicky/Sonic! I use he/him and am an adult.

I am a headmate in a system! We're all collectively transmasc but whatever. I've been fronting solo for the past 70 days at the time of writing, so.

I'm a huge fan of Sonic the Hedgehog. All of my posts will likely be about my fanfic, What Doesn't Kill You, which is currently like. 25 chapters and 100k+ words. Lol! I do a lot of art of Sonic, mostly my own fic.

Our collective name is William! I am 18+ and a transmasc system.

I would like to say I mostly post art, but I really do spend most of my time lurking and reblogging. I'm most active on Twitter nowadays, but I would Love to spend more time here!

I spend most of my freetime doing art but most of it these days is system related stuff or shitty (MsPaint) doodles. Or Homestuck. It's always fucking homestuck. That being said, my main special interest for probably the rest of my life is Homestuck and its Classpecting System. Our classpects, collective and individual, have become part of our actual identities in a similar way to a gender, lol.

I do a lot of writing, mainly roleplay. I really like anything relating to horror as well! I find it interesting. Asside from the aforementioned, I do a lot of Roleplay with my friends on Discord! I also am really into Splatoon, Five Nights at Freddy's, Sonic the Hedgehog, I play Overwatch, uh. I don't really know what else to say. About that.

Right now I just kind of fuck with Grey Matter and This Must Be The Place! I dont have anyone to tag!

Grey Matter is probably my favorite on Nothing To Fear besides the bonus song Better Luck Next Time from a rerelease. It's very ME core. There's something inside you head, they think you're stupid, you're better off being told what to do- I feel like that often. I very much feel outside it all, taken advantage of, stepped on and beat down. Thats so me. And the Mentally Ill Energy is so fun for me.

This Must Be The Place really strikes a chord with me because like. I came from nothing like. A MONTH ago. All I was a month ago was a bundle of feelings taken and discarded from alters who couldn't handle the occasional bought of anger and hurt of being rejected and not cared for. All I was was anger and resentment and desperation and want. No memories, just feelings. And then, I suddenly was. I didn't know who I was, where I was, or what I was. I just existed. And I was in a home I didn't recognize with a lover I hadn't met yet. And I just had to learn that this was my reality. The whole second half of the song kills me dead.

Looking for CDID system experiences with front stuck hosts, and how they know they aren't PDID

People seem to be convinced we may be a CDID system that presents like PDID and it's severely fucking with me because I have 0 idea how to research this, so if any CDID systems with front stuck hosts could explain how you know you aren't PDID that woukd help me TREMENDOUSLY

I completely forgot that I was going to say something about this my bad. It might not be entirely relevant though

I personally know we have DID and not pDID despite me being front stuck. I'm not a new alter and I was dormant for like 13~ years. I came out of dormancy when they caught my ass sneaking around in a fucking DREAM and I had to give up. That was last august and I've been front stuck ever since. I have not fully left front this entire time. Its almost been a full year.

In the last month or so, another alter formed and he has been fronting non stop himself. He has p much full autonomy, but I'm still here. I didnt switch in, I didn't come to the front, I'm just HERE. I don't really get up to a lot atm besides affecting his vocab and taking over some conversations and jobs, but I'm not the one running the ship. I've kind of floated the idea of hey what if we're actually were a pDID system this whole time and didn't know? But that wouldn't make any fucking sense because;

1) this has only ever happened to me. Im the only guy whos ever been front stuck like this

2) the 'old guys' didnt even have a host let alone one who was front stuck

3) the old guys traded COMPLETE control of the body and experienced amnesia between themselves with no one to buffer really

4) the gatekeepers who "know everything" only know so much bc of how memories are handled, not because they were there

I am front stuck but not because we have pDID. I do not know what the hell is going on but they went like two or three years without anything like this happening so. I dont know what the hell is going on other than it not being PDID

hello! i hope it's fine to ask. do you have any advice on how to stop having the compulsive urge to add all alters to pluralkit? i have wanted to start having alters add themselves as they front, but the urge to add everyone at the same time is really strong. any help is appreciated, thank you in advance!

i am prolly not the best person to ask exactly. Personally, I like to take the route of creating a page for them, such as adding them to your system tracker of choice (sp, pluralspace, berrytree, obsidian vault, etc) but leave them to do all the actual work to fill it out

My subsysmate, Amy, really likes to make flags and decks people out with role flags n all that. Its mostly for like. Classification purposes. Things like pronouns, pfps, banners, dividers, etc, we let people do that themselves. Having the profile be there for them almost seems like. Not a mercy, but a nudge. It's like saying "I'm acknowledging you and welcoming you into our life; feel free to exert some agency and power over it."

When it comes to Plural Kit specifically, it probably IS best to leave them to make them on your own. If you have a large system and want to keep the clutter down by not making a proxy for everyone who just shows up once or twice and never speaks again, or chooses to not speak to external people.

Maybe divert your energy to some other creative outlet? Maybe you could go look for templates or work on your own profile! Pretty it up and make it look nice. Doodle yourself, doodle the other alters, etc- just something to occupy yourself to let the urge to do all that work pass over you. I know we also do that- namely the aforementioned Amy. She would get reeeally focused on doing all the profiles and such that she'd spend HOURS on it. Formatting and reformatting and applying those changes painstakingly to EVERYONE

So yeah, Maybe instead of spending hours doing everyone's profiles, you can spend like AN hour making templates that really serve the purposes you need them for. That way, It'll be easier for those alters to come and fill them out. You're still facilitating the creation of PK profiles while still leaving it up to them to finish them and do what they wish with it. That's my two cents, i'd say. I hope that helps!
