I'll return to making art, especially pride-themed stuff, once I've processed a few things going on in my personal life, don't worry! little explanation as to whats going on with me below the cut vvvvvv

so here's the news: I may be soon diagnosed with skin cancer.

this is something that's been bothering me for, like a WHILE. I just now am finally getting the courage to have it checked, get all the appointments and such done, and from what I've been told, there's basically a very good chance that I'm dealing with a cancerous melanoma.

fortunately I am looking into getting it treated ASAP... this is a kind of cancer that can spread to other parts of the body at any given time, and that prospect terrifies me. so... yeah, that's the scoop... hopefully things will be okay! I'm remaining hopeful through this all, and that's all I can really do in the wait!

rest assured: I will NOT be stopping my work on my projects, I know how much you guys adore Beyond the Veil and such. we're working on it. life's been a bitch lately, and I do apologize for it.

What's your process of creating last names for your HTF cast?

here's my trick: I LOOOOOVE WORDPLAY. it is the COOLEST thing ever. a lot of the last names of my cast are puns! lemme explain a few, because I love them: Sniffles Antonio - take the first 3 words from his last name. get it? Zach Saccharine - "saccharine" is another word for "sweet" or "sugary" Handy Mann - sounds like "handyman" plus "Mann" is just "man" in German, also ironic because I do headcanon him as German Toothy Dennis - Dennis is an awful lot like "dentist" Lifty and Shifty Steels-Gamberro - they like to steal, right? steels is meant to sound like steals. the gamberro part of it is simply a Spanish word for "thug" or "violent criminal" and so on and so fourth. pretty neat if you ask me!

Zach, Byel & Treater [In order] Zach by @nuttygutz Byel by @liftylacerated Treater by me [@spirit-c1ear] I used Treater because he doesn't have a nickname yet but he might through out time.I've also been wanting to draw Zach and Byel in my style for a while so here it finally is!Also, Treater V2 drop, I suppose!And it's quite weird comparing when I drew Zach in 2025 to now [Also the same pose to link back to that] so to think I've come to long is nice.Anyways, I'm gonna do Lifty & Shifty Raccsen when I eventually can.Hope the both of you enjoy the fanart!
