this is kind of a hard question to answer but i remember i used to play games on an old nintendo ds when i was little. I forgot which games i played specifically but i do remember Mario, Cooking Mama, a despicable me one, a fashion one that i cant remember but do know exists. There were alot of games on it, so im omitting ALOT. I also remember playing roblox aswell even when i was young, and i think i shared an account with my brother

ALSO a ps vita. That one i remember really well: i played undertale, little big planet, and tearaway. I tried to play minecraft but i kept getting motion sickness sooo i didnt play it

as the words suggest, Bertina and Arthur are his siblings. He’s the youngest, and the son to Maria and Philip Shannon (both of whom are still alive and are travelling alot in their retirement)

Arthur — theo’s older bro — is a father to three kids: twins Nora and Noah, and his youngest daughter Jacky. He is also a musician and composes music for a gaming company

Being a single dad + with his youngest kid being sick, he’s really too busy to take in elbin, hence why bertina became the boy’s caretaker.

bertina — theo’s sis — as i said before, works at a museum. She’s an artist, though she’s really insecure about her art and isnt that fond of sharing it to others. She’s Elbin’s legal guardian

Elbin, his son, i cant say too much about but basically he’s a pretty shy and reserved kid, even before his pa’s death, and alot more so since then. The present takes place in 2025, and elbin’s 12. He likes to read, and i imagine that if he were real he’s love percy jackson

he has amnesia about his past

spiritfarer is one of the first games I’ve played in a long, long time and it’s a game I’ll never and could never forget. I finished it a few weeks ago and it’s still stuck with me.

I feel like, regardless of your belief or who you are, you’d gain something from this game. I’ve never seen death tackled so respectfully in a game until now. I think I once saw someone describe it as a love letter to death itself. It’s the most beautiful and bittersweet games I’d ever played and might just be one of my favorites!

this game made me cry so much. Stanley’s and Alice’s was just so heartbreaking. Stanley was one of the last few spirits I said goodbye to in game and up to that point I somehow managed to not cry during any other everdoor scene— aaand then the kid started talking about how he was scared and that he wanted to wake up from his coma but never did aaand that’s what broke me. He was just a little kid man. I don’t think I could ever imagine a kid as young as him saying those stuff, it hurt

I recently played another game, Before Your Eyes (you can play that and Spiritfarer on a Netflix subscription) and that game is also just incredible

Because of Spiritfarer I’ve picked up gaming as a hobby again, not only that but now I really want to make video games of my own and it made me realize a story that’s been in my head for a while could work so well as a game so

thanks to the team lotus who made the game— I hope I’ll be able to play more games like this and maybe even make one like this
