Okay so now I have another fic idea

But super cozy found family Granada Sherlock

(With a large helping of Holmes/Watson and possibly Holmes/Watson/Lestrade smut on the side)

Mrs. Hudson hires an assistant as she’s getting up there in age and an extra pair of hands to deal with Holmes’ shenanigans.

The men are in their 40s?

The assistant, name Olivia, is in her 20s. Quiet but the observational kind. Likes to leave notes.

Holmes food peculiarities? She takes that as a challenge to figure out- “Okay, what is your preference?” (I just watched the episode where Holmes complained Mrs Hudson made hard boiled eggs.) “Always on the move? Here are packed sandwiches already to go.” “Any aversions?”

Investigation skills? Check. Fightings skills? Just don’t ask how she got those.

If these character are compared to animals, Holmes as to a cat, Lestrade as to a weasel, Olivia is as to an owlet.

End goal of this cozy found family ficlets js basically these men adopt her.

Sherlock appreciates her keen eye and initiative. Watson just about has a heart attack when Sherlock pulls her into cases. Lestrade is irate when he finds out. They’ll deal with Holmes later wink wink. Olivia helps keeps their relationship under wraps but just happy to be warm and safe and included and has all of the pastries her sweet tooth can devour. And Mrs. Hudson just chuckles at her growing family.
