in need of help.

i’ll try to keep this short. my fiance is really struggling with money to even pay rent and his roomates have been really irresponsible and can’t cover that for him. they’ve been forcefully quarantined multiple times because one of his roomates refuses to take care of herself and ends up constantly getting sick and calling in. no, she does not have covid. she’s been tested multiple times.

he can’t ask help to his family due to not being supported by them already. they left him on his own during his top surgery (he’s a trans man) and the goverment refused to help him due to the pandemic. needless to say, his savings have run out and credit card is maxed out. he’s doing extra hours at work (12+ hrs a day) whenever he’s not forcefully quarantined. it’s not only affecting him financially, but mentally as well.

to make it worse, his cat is really not doing good health-wise and getting the treatment she needs is going to cost money he simply doesn’t have anymore. if you could donate or share this around we’ll be really grateful. i’m supporting him however i can, unfortunately we do not live together and i’m in another country so there’s only so much i can do.

making a small update here since i do have many replies to get to, however it will take me a second or two since irl has been very demanding.

due to my job being incredibly understaffed and 5 coworkers being quarantined, i have been working 9 hours straight and barely having much time to think. and starting this week, it’ll be 10 hours plus more if needed. so my mind will not be in the best place to formulate replies at the moment so I do apologize in advance.

hopefully things will calm down soon enough for me to knock these out fast. also my dms are always open for anything.

How open are you to talking out problems and getting them resolved?

More open than not. We all make mistakes, although sometimes things might hurt more than others so it can be hard to resolve a few situations (especially if you feel it might be a bigger detriment to your mental health that it’s just better to let things go). It also depends if the other party wants to resolve the problem as well (and I will not push them into talking to me as I do believe time is a better healer than persistence, despite my anxious want to get things done). But I prefer to have them resolved way more than having them linger. Just poke me if you want to talk things out, and I will listen.

Would you believe me if I told you I’m probably more scared of you than you are of me?

Don’t be scared I really don’t peck that hard. But a good way is to ask me questions in anon if you feel comfortable doing that (like right now). And my dms are always open for the pokes. I might take a while to reply during weekdays since work/overtime, but I will always reply back!
