Welcome to S.H.I.E.L.D || spiritofthefire Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D/Marvel AU!
"Join up? Me?" she asked, blinking. A moment of silence passed before the young woman completely lost her shit, hunching over as she started to laugh. That…Oh lord almighty, that was the funniest thing she’d ever heard. Surely this agent was joking, right? Like Wyn’d get in to their program.
Except…she wasn’t laughing. She was being serious, wasn’t she? Wyn straightened herself out quickly, wiping away the tears induced by her sudden giggle-fit. “O-Oh, sorry. You weren’t joking. You honestly think I could get in to that program?” she asked.
Heh, arrest her. That was cute. “Or I magic my way out of here. That’s always an option.” she mused, making a jazz-hand gesture.
The reaction wasn't much of a surprise to be perfectly honest. It was apparently how most people reacted when being recruited for SHIELD, unless they were actively applying.
Fiyera waited for the woman to stop laughing, a small smile on her face. "You would fly through. You almost beat Stark's security system, they definitely want you on their side."
But, of course, it apparently wasn't going to be that easy; Fiyera sighed. "Look. We've got you on camera. Stark's system is probably already running your picture, agents will be on their way here now, and trust me when I say there is nowhere you can hide," she said evenly. "If they have to catch you, you won't get this offer again. You'll be sent straight to lock up."

You’re not screaming yet, darling. Let’s change that shall we? I haven’t heard a good scream in, ooh, aeons!
[ her nails rake roughly over Fiyera’s clothing, tearing them down the middle, baring her flesh to Lilith’s eye ]
[ her hand brushes over the redhead’s sternum, red lines like claws scraping deep gashes into her flesh, watching the crimson liquid spill out of her, the happiness making her eyes glow, almost too bright ]
Organs, I think, yes? I’ll start slow.
[ her hand moving to Fiyera’s right side, she sinks her nails into the flesh, an almost clinical precision allowing her to detach the appendix from its host, and drop it on the floor, closing up the wound neatly, with a graceful gesturing of her hand, placing her fingers in her mouth and licking them clean ]
Delicious, too. I’m surprised you still haven’t reacted. Obedience doesn’t seem to be your strong suit, yet here you are. Obeying.

Ardere shook her head, looking away. ”I can’t just escape, actually. It’s…” No, it wasn’t complicated. It was quite simple. She would continue to hear their mind as they continued to tear others apart. She would experience, through their mind, what they did to their victims, and she would know that she could have stopped it. ”It’s what keeps me sane, honestly, and the alternative is that innocent people die. So yes, if they are one of my targets, I do have to kill them.”
She snorted, glancing back at Fiyera. ”And that is a large part of why I would rather not examine my mind too closely.”
"What, are you some sort of assassin or something?" she asked, partly concerned, partly curious, and maybe just a little bit scared. Being killed by a dragon wasn't exactly high on her list of things to do.
Tooth couldn’t help but smile at that, letting out a small laugh, “Yes, too bad I don’t have any quarters on me.” She was fairly capable of knocking a tooth out or two, Pitch was a prime example for that. She watched as the girl worked, wings twitching against the heat; just a bit longer.
Fiyera chuckled, lapsing into silence for a few moments before letting the heat die down. "There's no sense in pushing the bricks out right now, since the wall will be too hot for you to climb through the gap anyway and if we just sit here with a hole in the wall, someone might notice," she explained. "Give it a few minutes."
